Russians do not trust. Knowing their history this is understandable. Either your a world partner or not. Partnership goes both ways. Limiting control of resources to Russians is understandable. But the rest of the economy should be open to world. At some point Russians are going to have to trust others or thier world economic involvement will have to be limited.

Well.. I am not sure if Russia is ready for WTO but I am not opposed to the WTO. Joining the WTO doesn't mean that Russia has to allow foreign companies to use Russia's resources. Russia needs to join the WTO to export its products and services to other nations and become more competitive with the western goods.
