A Look inside a B-24J Liberator WWII Bomber

i have been in this plane at the fitchburg airport. the catwalk over the bomb bay it a TIGHT fit. its one beautiful plane

My grandfather was a B-24 waist gunner (Right side). Before he died we got to walk through The Dragon and His Tail when it was at the Museum of Flight just south of Seattle, WA. He gave a tour for those present even though he wasn't a part of the show.

Excellent close=up view of the B-24. I never walked through a B-24 yet but I flew in a B-17 and sat in the pilots seat of another. What a thrill! I love this B-24's nose art best of all B-24's ever!
