The Myanmar Junta is not "scared" of Aung San Syu Kyi. They would've killed her if they were. The Junta just imprisoned Syu Kyi and got her out of national spotlight at a very volatile and vulnerable time in Myanmar sensing they could creep into power.

Syu Kyi won an election but Myanmar itself during those times was very vulnerable 4 Armed Forces to take over, and they merely obligated.

Everyone wants money and power man and will jump 2 get it if given the chance. ALL OF US TOO.
