  • ...and Woody...

  • Extended tones of Yeah, Yes,you you Arlo and stuff ment lend encouragement was yelled in my house for sereveral minutes -Thanks ARLO I hope to see you someday and that the radio statio gave some of it to you represent a type o white folk americana with a little cream an blue ie in there If I have offended you I 'm changing my name right now ouywise it was beautiful! Bob

  • someone get this guy playing in a stadium.

  • Arlo youre so fucking amazing!!!!!! Cool guy!!!!!

  • Its weird to see him now after watching the original movie.

  • @MrBolaSete11 I just finished watching Alice's Restaurant and though Arlo has changed physically, his attitude and personality seem the same, ie. fun-loving and humorous! And that's all that matters!

  • Long Live Arlo Guthrie!!!!!

  • to all you that say its a little quick ..... it's a little quick cos he wasn't stoned !

  • A great song from a great man!

  • man, his voice is still shit-hot! amazing! wish we had a contemporary Arlo!

  • Don't get me wrong, I'm a lifetime Arlo fan, and his voice still sounds good and I love him, but in this particular clip, his body language tells me he's sung this song so many times he's sick of it and can't get through it quick enough.

  • come to new hampshire .you'll be well received.

  • Arlo ... why so fast (double-time)... you must have been excited ! You seem to have more energy now than ever ... but it is a cooler song slower ... more to be savored.

  • arlo doesn't have that boyish voice anymore. but the song is awesome

  • another woodstock living legent ! so glad to see him again after all those years...

  • The tempo is WAY too fast. If he would slow it down it would sound as good as 1969. Still a great song though.

  • you picky ass people cant enjoy whats infront of you without having to look for details to criticize.

  • @WillKill4Weed

    This^

  • @WillKill4Weed

absolutely right on target. Thank for saying that.

  • @memtown the Tempo always was pretty fast on the album, the woodstock performance was a bit slower though.

  • wow he's gettin' old fast

  • Ahhhh...aint it fun getting old?

  • Being a victim of the same process. Old guys still know how to rock. Arlo and so many other greats formed the music then that will last for generations. Unlike the shot in the pan stuff of now a days.

  • pissss and fucking

  • he is still goood (: i totally agree with some people who commented before, i liked when he did the slower version at woodstock it sounded much better to me... thats how i play it too

  • I've had the privilege of seeing Arlo Guthrie perform this song on many occasions. Whether he's by himself or with Pete Seeger or his son, he is absolutely incredible! He continues to give of himself from his heart for our enjoyment. He still sings & plays in tune, tells funny anticdotes &stories, & when he sings This Land Is Your Land,my eyes still tear up. So, perhaps, before you cut him apart, think of ALL that he & Pete Seeger have done for our Country & for our sanity. Thanks!

  • does he tell the joke about not really remembering anything in woodstock everytime?? lol

  • Excellent! The master at his best! Thanks for posting.

  • the worst thing you can do to a song is make it officail

  • he did the woodstock version so much differently idk if this is how the original one was but i like the slowed down woodstock version better

  • Been a long time since Woodstock, man. :) Things change. Not even songs stay the same. I think it's be boring if stuff always sounded the same.

  • yeah im just saying i like how he did the woodstock one but i think this is how he originally did it

  • 100% with you on that, but some people just want everything to always stay.......the....same...

    peace

  • its sad to see a woodstock perfomer playing smaller venues like this.

  • Actually, I happenned upon him once sitting on a table jamming away (totally acoustic) at the El Mocombo in Toronto, totally unadvertised. One of the best, most interesting evenings I've spent.

  • pretty much everything is small compared to woodstock

  • One of the best tunes, when arlo doesnt play Alices resteraunt, god he must be so fed up with that one,I love it,but to play it all the Time`````Well

  • Savage Gig!!what a storyteller!
