After taking 4 workshops with him and knowing Tabla Solos I, II, and III inside and out, he is demonstrating all of his favorite combinations and there was no covering up anything. He meant every stroke you heard. AND the baseline players were rock steady with the timing changes. Superb job! This is the best video I have seen of Issam's playing. I keep hoping his new Instructional Video is released soon.

the guy on the left! let me tell you, it's NOT easy what he is doing, cause he cannot make one mistake. but issam could cover up when he is freestyling. so dude you are amazing!!!!! you play just like a drum machine.

I took a lesson from Issam about a year ago and remembering it still makes me practice more. He's a great guy and an amazing drummer.

Issam is great but I don't know why one backing drummer was playing maqsoum and the other was playing saidi.
