This is one of the most beautiful love songs I've ever heard ... because of its truth. When our heart's aching, we can get through the days, but how are we gonna sleep?
My absolute favourite song of all time! Featuring Tim's long term girlfriend of the time actress Greta Scacchi - what a beautifully complex looking couple - they would have had beautiful children!
I AGREE! It just about broke my heart when they broke up! IMHO Tim has never had a girlfriend or wife of the calibre that Greta was! They would have indeed produced gorgeous children!!
Wow! I agree, this is a great tune. I too remember hearing it during '89 and into 1990. Can you upload the 7" single? Otherwise can you tell me where to get it. Thanks
I have the 7" single but it's on 45 RPM so I can't upload it. I do see the 7" single for sale periodically on Ebay. Also, if you contact the Frenz Forum they might be able to help you find it. If you contact me privately I will check for the email of a gentleman who I know that specializes in Finn-related music imports.
it went largely unnoticed outside of Australia and New Zealand,..how sad and what a gem! 426 views because of lack of promotion in the u.s. Again, makes me feel like The Cheshire Cat for being one of the privledged who knows and loves it :)
I work in the music industry in the U.S., and it largely relies on teeny-bopper stuff, rap, and country. Quality stuff flies under the radar, unfortunately. I love Tim's muisc, and always will. Thanks for posting the video!!
A huge THANKYOU!! I had not seen this video since I was a teenager and that was some 18 years ago!!
I was lucky enough to see the "Enz" when they did the Aussie tour in 2006. Perth was the last city and they were all in fine form. THEY LET LOOSE!!!!! God bless Malcolm Green for sitting on the stool again to "reform" the 1977 - 1982 line-up. My prays where answered in 2008 when I saw the Police. Two great groups that inspired me to become a muso!!
baby, baby ... steve marriott, peter green, ray davies, tim finn ... your range is as remarkable as your beauty, but ... methinks a catergory stepping is amiss here!
Guitar chords E, Aand D to play this song...

Hey didnt Greta Sacchi marry/date Vincent D'Noffrio (Goren on Law and Order Criminal Intent) ...was that before or after Tim???

@TheReaper7277
Greta left Tim for D'onofrio when they fell in love while making "Salt On Our Skin".
They were a couple for some time but never married.

@Babyhowdy233 I don't know about that, considering he's now been happily married for several years and has two children.
