It's a pretty good phone, but bloody Microsoft got rid of the proper Windows mobile and replaced it with a website UI made by a 6 year old.

disappointed. No red back finished, even Samsung Behold has metal battery cover, so did omnia one. hope we have different battery cover when it gets here in terms of build quality and style

You can be excused for your humming because Midomi and the video editor are a huge step forward in WinMo devices. It looks like they stepped forward in producing quality sotware. Now if only it was faster and the battery life could last a day easily while surfing the net and all the other great things you can do

I would go with this for the reason u described...

II=winmo , cool looks and Fast processor.

HD=symbian, feels huge and heavy and slower processor.

oh, thanks for the comment man. cause i am actually using the omnia right now, and im more than satisfied with the camera and stuff. im just a bit disappointed with the touch screen. and yea i think i shall get the omnia 2 nxt. thanks again.

I personally prefer the HD for its superior camera and S60 5th OS. It seems as if the HD is superior in terms of potential uses, and smoother software integration. S60 has been more reliable and fun for me.

Besides that, it's the details. The Omnia II has that ridiculous Cube Menu while the HD has a 3-D wall transition between homes. HD has the capacitive screen with 16M color support, which is amazing, while the Omnia II is stuck with 65K and a resistive screen b/c of WinMo.
