living in the boston area, i had the great fortune to often see julia outside wgbh-tv in their old studios on western ave in allston (after their first studios on mass ave in cambridge, at the edge of the charlse river, burned down).
also working in the harvard community, i had the great opportunity to personally meet and host her at a book signing in cambridge.
Lucky you to have met Julia Child ! She seems like such a genuinely lovely, warm and sweet person I wish I had met her Not many around like her these days ..( like that song " where have all the flowers gone" )
What a beautiful lady. She was keen observer of life's details and had the obvious ability to convey what saw and felt. Even at this age, she seems brilliant, and amazingly happy. It seems that if she wasn't well to do, she may not have survived the early years through to grace the world with her art. The internet is full of garbs of bubbleheaded bull. Its so nice to see when it does something positive, like maintain and educate like this video.
You are very missed dear Julia...no one will every hold a candle to you, not any one celebrity chef out there these days can teach me what your shows and books have taught me about cooking.
Perhaps in the future there will be someone...
Also miss your resto in Napa at Copia that kept your cuisine alive.
I miss Julia .. I loved to watch all her cooking shows. Her most recent "Baking with Julia" was one of my all time favorites .... You are missed Mrs. Child :)

There are so many wonderful people showcased in this "interview" series. Check out Jean Stapleton's interview. That woman is scary brilliant.
