  • Ouch! I like the original version MUCH better.

  • this is what a monkee tripping on acid sounds like.

  • personally I think he still got it , it sounds just fine to me and the modern instruments actually nailed it too. I'm saving it in my files...

  • I've always loved this song and Mickey Dolenz, but sorry I have to say this version was painful to listen to.

  • Wow, I really disagree on that, I saw it it live and was mesmerized!

  • i was outside playing hopscotch, never watched the beatles cartoons!!! amazed, right????

  • Yeah, surprised.... I had 6 older brothers and sisters and my oldest brother played 45's and LP's non stop, new all the Beatles, Monkees, Hermans Hermits, Dave Clark 5, Rolling Stones, Hollies, Beach Boys, etc...by age 5! Of course I remember the Beatles on Ed Sullivan Feb 64 with the whole family watching!

  • well, ditto about the 45's which i STILL HAVE, and i remember sitting "indian style" on the floor with our family watching the beatles on ed sullivan too, then the next day in school, all the girls were saying who was their favorite! such innocent times!

  • Yes, it was the first nice event after the Kennedy assassination, the Beatles bought the country out of it's depression and every move they made was watched for the next 6 years and then the legend ever since!

  • awesome song-one of the monkees best

  • am not familiar with this song, but your special effects are great!

  • Glad you like the effects, not familiar??Didn't you watch the show or were you too busy with Beatles cartoons!!
