@mohiahmed1 The answer to that is easy and logical :). Its so the animals knows what the owner wants it to do. IF the animal wanted to kill them all it would. Its allowing them to give it instructions using the leash (or its afraid of consequences if it doesn't comply). You wrap a horses lead to a post while grooming it, but that post wont do shit if it wants to run away.

DON'T think of tigers as pets. Tigers were meant to roam free on earth but they got extinct. The tiger is a species just like we are. Nature programmed them to roam Asia and hunt. Also tigers die after 2 years in the hands of owners who wanted to keep them as pets. How would you feel, say if you were a species and the tiger had you as a pet. It is not cute and the tiger has no space, natural food. Human interactions are not good for the tiger- they were also solitary animals.

First of all, no, dogs were NEVER wild. When they were wild they were called WOLVES... Dog's were bred, with very specific purposes, and they're traits were chosen to suit the needs of their breeders. And I might remind you that dogs are highly social animals, which allows them to be very easily controlled. Tigers are not. Ask someone who has a wolf how "tame" their "puppy" is. There is a big difference even between a dog and a wolf, much less a dog and a TIGER. Amazing.. I hope you get a tiger.

Did you know there are only 500 siberian tigers in the wild left? They used to dominate. But because people kill them and because land is so scare and its been industrialized, these beautiful animals disappear.
