@lokrenzo Almost everything .. sidemissions , melee weapons , radio songs , public transport , cars , mutliple endings , features like sitting down etc , many locations got cut and used for dlc's (some got cut for good) .. just visit the offical 2k forum and read up any information about cut content in mafia 2 .. it's ridiculous !

yeah. almost nothing about those videos is in the final game - this mission, the old man, the guys near Giuseppe's shop, the dog - and the buildings are not in real time as you can see here

the driving in this video looks like the cars have really good handling. But in the demo, its very different and more realistic.

Evading the cops actually looks fun in this game unlike GTA4. If you hide within the flashing circle in GTA you never lose your wanted level, and they were talking about making the game realistic ...

Some games do better with scripted events and some don't. Did you ever play Mafia 1? It wouldn't really be the same game as it is today if nothing was scripted. 2K really wants to put some atmosphere in this game and I think it will be much better with some scripted events for that. If you played "A trip to the country" in Mafia 1 you know what i'm talking about. That mission really wouldn't be the same with a crear sunny day would it. This game will probably be as good as Mafia 1 if not better.

Not doubting this will be a good game to run through once. It will probably be kick ass. Its just me personally who am into other stuff. Was not intended to mean the game sucks. Just that it isnt my preferred game type. ;)

The police system in Mafia was very good though.

There are obviously some scripted events in the missions running alongside the standard AI. Pretty much the way it works in GTA.

The sub quest looks like an ode to the first mafia game. The first real mission in the first mafia game was to trash a parking lot.
