I saw BOC in 1972, Louisville, Ky. Opening act for Black Oak Arkansas, I think...possibly not that concert. Blue Oyster Cult much more class than Black Oak Arkansas, sorry. But hey, not PC.
What the Hell!!! Who are they!!! I think there just making fun of the real singers...or are they the real one's anyways I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THEM!!!
note: this is original BOC bassist Joe Bouchard switching roles and singing and playing lead guitar (on a song he originally played on bass and sang harmony on), with his brother Albert Bouchard on cowbell (he drums on the record); don't know who the bass and drums are attempted by here
lol wat assholes lol the drummer thinks hes awsome.. lol he sucks lol and the ass playing cowbell lol dont get me started lol and the bass player things hes the bass player from bon jovi lol
this is such an easy song i've been playing for 3 months and i can play it its not hard at all, and just so u know i learned how to play it by sitting on my ass and teaching myself thru utube. o nd if u dont belive me ill go by a webcam just so i can show u i can play this song
lol once it hit 00:26 i thought the guy in the red shirt looked like newman from seinfeld...p.s this version sux dont watch it...wana know why? read the description
For an amateur audio/video recording, it actually doesn't sound half-bad. For a better example of what the X Brothers sound like, check out Cellsum Records' site, where, if you follow a couple links, you can hear iTunes samples from both of their albums, "Solid Citizens" and "Beyond The Valley Of The X". Both those CDs are available (from separate sources), and are great straight-ahead rock and roll records. The X Brothers are actually pretty good.
To Wario2009: FUCK YOU! Dude these guys still have it. This song has a lot better sound to it than your dad playing your mommas squeeze box every night! So shut up and watch the Fucking video!
I think the 'tard you are referring to is the original drummer of BOC back in the day. I'm trying to check out the drummer but can't see or recognize him.
God, I love BOC, people! Anyone at Jones Beach in '78 knows that, at the time, BOC was the greatest band in rock. Well, better than bands like the Stones, anyway.
The cowbell player should have explored the space a little more. There arent too many BOC songs with cowbell in them so he needs to perform the hell out of it.
They had TWO cowbells! Although he shouldn't have held it like that, muted it too much.(I liked it before SNL, btw) Good cover though. That drummer really freaked out at the end!
for 2 brothers joe and albert that dont want to be in blue oyster cult anymore sure do play alot of the songs still i think they want to be back with blue oyster cult i think they should get back in the band
...but the last time I checked, we don't have a whole lot of songs that feature the cowbell... and I'd be doing myself a disservice, and every member of this band, if I didn't perform the hell out of this! LOL
Needs more Cowbell.
