I was very pleased to find this clip posted here on YouTube. It is a fitting tribute to Rubinstein's mastery and deservedly exalted status as a great pianist/interpreter. For some strange reason, Arthur Rubinstein has all-too-frequently been underestimated as a technician, when the fact is: Rubinstein had serious chops! I had the pleasure of experiencing his keyboard artistry and command in person on a few occasions, and I would certainly place his name among the greatest pianists EVER!

@arpeggiomikey I agree. I think his playing was so low-key and tasteful that it is easy to forget how technically brilliant he was.
