  • seems like people are commenting on here having never done this exercise, nice tricep btw!

  • I'm getting 40's soon, I know I can curl the hell out of them, with those arms why are you only at 40? Just wondering? I'm knew to lifting and am looking for some pointers.

  • this weight is not special at all

  • bro your huge! how'd you get that ripped if your only using 40 lbs?

  • @brownandripped strict form

  • I like doing it on incline too, it stops back injury when going heavy.

  • Don't forget diet too. You can train all you want with a poor diet and not gain much.

  • i curl 35 pounds 3x12 and im 15, 5'9 and your biceps are larger then mine, i think you can curl more then that.

  • @khaalid110 haha, clearly you've never done incline, it's a lot harder than you think

  • Dude you are a hard man.

  • I'm 6'0" tall.

  • ok wtf, i can curl 40lb freeweights with absolute fluidity and my biceps are in no way that huge. How tall are you? I am 5' 6".

  • @shikoku86 u'd do about 60% of that weight on an incline

  • you got power

  • FOR THE SIZE OF ARMS YOU HAVE you should be lifting more, stop training for size

  • I never really understood the point of doing incline curls .. your arms are in the exact same position as in normal curls and if you turned your arm into incline too, it would work your shoulder instead of the bicep

  • @qopemail theres something with sitting down that has a different effect on the muscle tissue i think

  • @qopemail they are not in the same position.. note the angle of his arm between shoulder and elbow relative to his torso.. when doing curls whilst standing, the upper arm is parallel to the body. incline curls move the arm past that point by 30-40 degrees, resulting in a greater stretch in the muscle.. in short, incline dumbbell curls put much more strain on the biceps even before any contraction occurs thus resulting in greater muscle stimulation..

  • @obezana thank you for elaborating on this very usefull info

i never saw it like that was thinking it was same as any other bicep workout or the efficiency of incline in bicep training, i can see it now :)

    regards

  • @DosBox8Bit my pleasure.
