But Coal IS Swiss indeed, aamof he is from Stansstad, brother of Reto Burrell, and them other broth is Philippe, from the band Marygold, all of them are a bloody bunch of Rockers, and yeah, long live the Dead Brothers and their kindalikes, e.g. The Maniacs.

The 12" was released in spring 1986 on the Chicago based Wax Trax label. And, by using only the words "The Young Gods" cut into someones flesh for the cover art, it set the minimal art direction the band used up to the release of the Kurt Weill record . The self-titled debut lp used the words, "The Young Gods", in stone. The 12" of their second single "Did You Miss Me?" used gold. The third single, "L'Amourir", used brushed metal/steel. And their second lp, "L'Eau Rouge", used fire/red-yellow.

I saw this video on the french channel of swiss tv back around 1986. In a programm called Juke Box. Due to the video I went to their first concert in Zurich and they played their first Maxi Single Envoyé about three or four times. Because that was all they had to offer at this time. It's the first time for over 20 years I see the video again. Still cool.
