Religion was sold to me on the basis I would be happy. One big lie. I decided to leave the church & sort out my problems. This I did successfully & became am a much happier & independent person, better suited to deal with the difficulties of life. My personal experience has more value to me than your words.

I was a doubter 15 years ago...until I had a near death experience hell is real as heaven is. Hell is unbearable, no love, no light only dread darkness and fire. But I was spared and given another chance. Please stop doubting and believe for your own soul sake. Not because we say so but for yourself. I have spoke to many folks. Some laugh but one day the laughter will cease and the screams will begin. Trust Christ as savior please!!!!!!!!!!! This is no joke!!!!!! You will stand before GOD.

im afraid its not about christianity, its because all men are born sinners spiritually and physically, meaning that it didnt matter what u did for u were still a sinner, we were all condemned. Though God forgives us, blood is a necessity to cleanse sins as well and since Jesus Christ's blood was shed and was approved by God, thus, He's the only ticket to receive your heavenly citizenship and to be exempt from condemnation. So the issue isn't about religion but about accepting Jesus Christ.

For if God didn't send his son to condemn the world but to save it, thus whoever believes in his son doesnt stand condemned but saved. I'm afraid it deosnt matter what u are either muslim, hindu, atheist but if u reject the son of God, God will also reject you because he has given all authority in Heaven and earth unto his son and if u want to get to him, u must get through his son, going directly to the father will be a huge affront and thus u will be rejected like chaff.

Ah, but the threat of hell & punishment is still there. I saw a lot of bad in the church & god wasn't answering my prayers while I was having lots of problems (caused mainly by the church!). Religion was sold to me on the basis I would be happy. One big lie. I decided to leave the church & sort out my problems. This I did successfully & became am a much happier & independent person, better suited to deal with the difficulties of life. My personal experience has more value to me than your words.

They got saved b/c they were in a BAD place and cried to Jesus who saved them or they heard the gospel and there was a longing, a tug in their spirit that they were sinners and NEEDED God.Keep believing that ppl get saved because they don't want to be punished. Who would stay in Christ based on fear when almost everyone else has convinced themselves no judgement AT ALL exists? Or with distractions?

Hell, purgatory - they are all dark Catholic notions. Biblically, all sin, Satan and the wicked will be burnt to ashes & be like refuse on the ground - Revelation 19:20 & Ezekiel 28:18. I just find it intriguing how Satan's old lie "ye shall live forever" - continues to plague people's understanding of Scripture. It goes against what the Bible actually teaches to be awake in Hell for eternity with Satan. It would also mean that Satan was right to Eve. The Wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23.

Don't be to sure, there's so many twisted people around. My humble interpretation of this traditional clip is if someone hasn't been enlightened, then he/she falls short of the afterlife. 'Centering prayer' or 'vipassana' is the best path i know of. Too much rituals, traditions and cultural mixing in religious practice is off target, life is too short anyways. I practice vipassana and it's one of the best in the world, even Jesus practiced it, he knows everything anyway.
