man I use to love this mix, and I just realised the melody is in this track is almost an exact copy of Olmec Heads - Lift Off, check it out boys & girls....
Just to come to Matt Darey's defense...this mix is OLD AS HELL......ELDERLY........probably early 2000s I think. I've had it forever. So styles change...I mean look at what Paul Oakenfold used to spin back in the 90s. This mix was hot back then.
Couldn't care either way about the original, but this is a belter of a Darey remix. Not as if Moloko were house legends anyway being as they were trip-hoppers who just happened to get well-known through being remixed in the first place.
Best vocal breakdown ever on this remix, first disocvered it on Pure Euphoria (vol4: yellow) amazing track. Although he could redo it with a harder kick and new bassline. But keep the breakdown, very 90'd euphoric =)
not sure If I should point this up or down cause tune rocks but original song doesnt looks too much similar to this.

..also I dont care if its not perfect. The lyrics and vocal sound are perfect and have been worked in well.

I like the balearic sound. I dont think it sounds grotty whatsoever. Maybe it could be reworked with a better kick or somethin'

Actually this mix came out in 1998 so yeah...the scene/genre was COMPLETELY different than today. This was HOT back then...I remember :)

Weak remix. Testament to Darey's lack of creativity that he can make such an average trance tune out of an great house track.

Agreed. The track sounds paper thin and not up to Darey's high standards of old. It has the feeling of a fairly basic, off-the-shelf trance software.

what you said. it's like he took a catalogue of beats and put it in.

@Butcherski hmm, I thought he did something nice with this. He gave the track more of a mournful feel and it really tied in well with the vocals.
I seem to really like matt dareys remixes, but not his productions though :/

@Butcherski Twat. Matt Darey one of the greatest, pioneering producers of Dance music ever. Dickhead.

@Butcherski matt was one of the best of his time and the original is a pop anthem not house

Great remix. Testament to Darey's creativity that he can make such an awesome trance tune out of an average house track.

Its very very good, indeed. But I think that Darey's rmx of ATB's 9PM is the best from him ;)
