  • I'm sorry, but it's ridiculous that human beings like these think that enslaving/killing a weaker species and treating them like a crop for the sake of "luxury" is okay.

  • 1:12 LITERALLLY KILLED ME! To know that those cute little babies are going to die for someone to wear them is heartbreaking

  • I have skinned my deer and made blankets out of them. I could only skin them after shooting them, usually at a range of over 100 yards. The claim animals are skinned alive seems ludicrous to me. My deer had to be shot before it was skinned. The truth is animals are a resource that should be responsibly used. Animal rights activists are elevating animals above humans and this is wrong.

  • Look how humans have gone to just show fashion off. They try to make fur farms right.? How is that Possible no living thing should ever go through that pain to be skinned or being skinned alive its to see what this world has came to.

  • the sooner this trade dies out, the better, along with the traders themselves!

do they really think that videos like this are going to brain wash into thibking its ok, they will make animal lovers more angry, scumbags! sssssssssssssssssss

  • @MyBabiesMyHorses You are very uneducated. And what an extremely immature comment to post! The only people who are brain washing people are the anti fur trade with their ridiculous adverts. The fur trade is an amazing and skillful trade, not that you will know that. Fur is personal choice, and nobody should be telling anyone what to believe. I am proud to say that the fur trade will go for many years to come and is now bigger than ever.

  • what about the slaughter? the raccoon was in a tiny cage with a wire bottom. They are all kept in tiny cages for their short lives. Please tell me how this is a happy life for them? I hate the way the human species feels like they 'own' other lives. Makes me sick. I am in the fashion industry and I still cannot fathom this torture for a nice new coat

  • @kylie040485 totally agree i get angry when they try and make it look "okay" to breed animals just to imprison and then kill them for thier fur...HUMANS ARE SO SELFISH!

  • these animals are literally bred to be killed

they dont know life outside thos cages

so stop bitching like they are killing fucking humans

ive seen people raise less of a stink over fucking killers and child molesters

this is these peoples way of life

as the video said the finish man's farm has been in his family for years

  • Note that this video doesnt even touch on the method of killing these animals.....

  • @Boomerang9457 so true.... v.v

  • Guys, fur farming is some people's only source of income.

  • I am glad there is atleast one video on here that shows the truth about the fur trade.

  • @beavthetrapper Here here!

  • @jes6633 i've got a video on foothold traps used for the fur trade, if you don't mind watch it and let me know what you think.

  • wow. at 1.02-1.13 he states "Like all breeders they need to make sure their animals are 100% healthy and happy too, it's in no one's interest to raise animals in poor conditions" and at exactly 1.07 we are shown cages, very small cages for each individual animal. correct me if i'm wrong, which i'm not, but what animal is ever happy in a cage? especially one where they aren't able to move from side to side, or turn around? they may be physically healthy(if that) but mentally, far from it. wise up

  • Ok, now let's see some of those well-cared-for animals being killed. So we can see how humanely it's done.

And let's see some fur farms in China, since that's where the vast MAJORITY of fur products come from anyway. Oh right, China's where they skin animals alive because they say it makes the meat taste better. Oh but surely they treat fur animals with exceptional respect... pshh!

  • @xZaCloudx - The majority of full fur coats for sale here in America are only manufactured in China. The fur is almost always raised in America, Canada, or Scandinavia. The coats are labeled according to federal law which require the nation it was manufactured in and the nation the fur pelts come from. Try stopping at a furrier's store and look at the labels.

  • @xZaCloudx - Please provide me with a list of fur farms here in America that are AVMA certified that skinned animals alive. Please include the address, the farm owners name and phone number, and the date you were there so I can verify your claim with the farm owner.

Videos do not lie, but the people who make the video can and in some cases do lie. Therein lies the problem. If the KKK made a video about the NAACP would you believe it hook, line, and sinker without any critical questioning?

  • @Kelly2357 everyone has an agenda honey. including those against the fur industry. so dont be suprised if you discover that the things you watch in a peta film are only done in a small percentage of fur farms.

  • @xZaCloudx Maybe it's made like this in China, but it's not made like this in America. So just stop buying things made in China and buy the ones made here. It's not because one country make it like that that it's like this everywhere else. Live animal skinning is barbarian and fur trades comdemned it too.

  • People wearing real fur are just as guilty and responsible as the people killing and torturing the animals for their fur. Living in cages is not healthy for nobody. This is sick torture and I hope the people responsible for this all get what they DESERVE!!!

  • Yes those fur-wearing people love animals and protect them. And Hitler hasn't killed any Jews.

  • Shame on you!!! Wearing fur isn't a trade, it's just cruel!

  • this industry is so cruel and unethical, even their own commercial advertisement looks like an ANTI-FUR film

  • The industry may not be perfect, but at least this video shows that it's NOT all about dashing cats into the ground and skinning them alive. I believe fur and meat can be obtained ethically and sustainably; it's a shame this is the very height of welfare standards.

  • so full of bullshit

  • Oh yeah, those beings stuck in TINY wire mesh cages are happy and content. Ridiculous. Abuse at its best.

  • As explained by the European Commission Scientific Committee on Animal Health and Animal Welfare (SCAHAW), major changes to current farming conditions would be required to improve welfare of fur farmed animals but there has been little industry interest in making such meaningful changes.

These findings are in stark contrast to the claims of this film

  • Fur is murder. It's a shame!

  • Excellent video!
