It's entirely subjective so there really is no debate. Btw, most people are still scared of lightning and many still die at 23... And our survival and evolution is owed to a lot of things about our human natures. Lying is not the biggest, nor the most important part. Though of course, gaining the ability to critically analyze situations and know when being honest was warranted, and when to be cautious, was a valuable tool.

most people believe the first thing they are told. for example people that are raised around christians most likely will believe in christianity. however if noone ever mentioned religion to that person, and in the middle of that persons life someone told them about christianity, they have a higher chance to not believe it. but just believing the religon does not make it true. that being said i'd like all the people to stop spreading religon and let people find their own beliefs. anyone agree?

It's entirely subjective so there really is no debate. Btw, most people are still scared of lightning and many still die at 23... And our survival and evolution is owed to a lot of things about our human natures. Lying is not the biggest, nor the most important part. Though of course, gaining the ability to critically analyze situations and know when being honest was warranted, and when to be cautious, was a valuable tool.

Imagine a land where everyone is a satanist. No one has morals, therefore; killing, stealing, and competition for life's essentials. People only care about themselves. This would not be a very good place. Life expectancy wouldn't be very long. Although, people would be completely free, they wouldn't be happy. So, this way of life can only bring you bad things.
I'm not a Christian, and I don't promote any religion, but at least other religions provide instructions for a good society.

I agree with your premise, however, this is not what Lavey was arguing. His brand of Satanism does not argue complete anarchy, and everyone for themselves. "The human animal" as he would put it, has a lot of need for societal structure, and laws, in order to achieve what is best for the individual. This is why most Laveyan Satanists believe in the death penalty. I'm not a Satanist. Just find the man interesting.
