As for the ride, the Golf is a much smoother ride than the Megane.

a bit biased really. The Renault was decked out in optioned recaro seats, while gti was in standard cloth seats. Everyone knows the Focus RS is crap inside, a ford is crap overall, but if you buy you buy for the power, not for the interior. Golf R would be a better comparison to the Renault

That would have been a better match!

The VW might not be the best looking interior for everyone but It is quality.

I would have a hard time choosing between the GTI,the Focus RS and the Renault but i probably would take thr GTI because im a VW guy so...

for me i would say boy racers would have the focus. look at it, it looks so vulgar and kind of like 'look at me' appeal. way too much, and so much money for a car that is slower than the renault. golf is very nice but too refined for the hot hatch market. megane RS is easily the best as its fastest, lightest, greenest, better handling etc etc
