  • AT&T is great. Actually, my opinion is a bit biased considering my dad works for AT&T and installs Uverse. But for me anyway, their internet connection is great! :D

  • AT&T is good! The only problem is my computer is old,but the connection is great!

  • at&t has good latency/ping time, but their download speed is never as advertised. Also their service is ridiculously bad. Ive been on hold 30 minutes+ to just get hung up on. Id advise anything but at&t.

  • i love this, make more backgrounds please!!! u are a genius!!

  • AT&T is terrible. If you have a problem with their service you'll be talking to 5 different people till they tell you they dont know what the problem is.

  • Att is terrible

  • AT&T? No. Their Internet stoped working almost every day when we had it

  • LOL CASH FOR GOLD

  • also Acanac has some good deals, one of them is unlimited internet plus free homephone for a year

  • try Acanac, there a new company, the serve Canada and the U.S.

  • I've had experience with both BH and AT&T. Both have pros and both have cons, which makes this deicison a little difficult.

To begin with, they are both considered to be moderate in quality when it comes to providing internet services.

Bright House tends to have a higher quality internet speed. They also have at least four known 24/7 call centers for support when needed. Bright House also provides additonal services such as spam blockers, fire walls, anti-virus, etc. at 'no additional cost'.

  • @StarktheMonkey Continuation-

The Cons to Bright House are as follows:

Bright House typically costs more than other companies.

If you ever have an unplanned emergency such as a power outtage, your service is cut off for both internet and phone. Unlike other companies that can remedy those situations by re-routing your phone/internet to other facitilies, Bright House dose not currently offer that as an option.

Bright House response time is long, so fixing a problem can take some time.

  • @StarktheMonkey Continuation-

    AT&T pros:

AT&T has multiple monthly plans that allow you to match it to almost anyones budget. The lowest offers 800kbs for 20 dollars a month, which is VERY affordable when you consider a standard 2megabit connection (350kbs) usually goes for about twice that from other companies.

They offer freeware such as pop-up blockers, personal firewalls, etc. at 'no additonal cost'.

They offer GREAT parental controls, assuming thats even a concern.

  • @StarktheMonkey continuation-

AT&T also provides whats known as a "dynamic IP". This is an IP that changes everytime you logon. It prevents hackers from accessing your system.

Cons: AT&T "can" be expensive, although its usually not for internet.

They have VERY poor and VERY expensive technician charges. Just installing the internet can run you 250 dollars for the basic installation.

They have 'weak' connectivity at random times. This means if your paying for 800kbs, you might only get 450.

  • @StarktheMonkey Overall, I found that Bright House is at least twice as good as AT&T when it comes down to comparing internet services, customer support, and technician setup fees.

If I had to choose between the two, I would go with Bright House.

If your able to, however, I would suggest going for Verizon, since they offer excellent customer support, with great prices to match. The trick is if they server your area or not, and if they don't stick with Bright House.

    Hope this helps. -Stark

  • @StarktheMonkey Service your area*

Side note: There are more pros and cons that I did not list, mostly because I cannot think of them at this moment.

Searching the internet might give you a better idea of both providers though.

  • They both suck!!! Lmao

  • ATT is sht..

  • bright for sure

  • AT&T lags

  • AT&T FTW

  • bright house is better

  • What where you drawing?

  • Verizon is better than both i have it fast connection and never slow great service and its shockings its cheap to.

  • I have Bright house for many years more than 10 and I love it. Whenever there's something wrong I call and it gets fixed. If not they come the next day and fix them themselves. It's really good. Now AT&T they are ok but I don't like they're service. They take forever to help you.

  • when i got uverse, i had my internet out for a week and once i got it, the internet kept going down every day but thats only because apparently my house is too far away for there to be uverse on my computer. ugh... at&t really frustrates me. never tried brighthouse though, so maybe u should use that.

  • I dont know about Brighthouse but I know from experience AT&T is shitty.

  • idk about either ive got charter i get around 2.5mb/s

  • AT&T for me. its pretty fast.

  • Here in California brighthouse really isn't prevalent enough to bother with, It's reall area specific but my personal experience would say go with AT&T, but if you want good Internet move to sweden

  • i did use both and liked at&t better, but now i changed to a differents service. overall

    both are fine

  • I will have to say, Uverse it's fast and reliable you will never have any problems connecting fast nor problems with video streaming.

  • at&t because i never herd of bright house and because at&t is a good service

  • I think it depends on your area. Up in MI AT&T Uverse was the way to go hands down, but in the south (Where most of the Bright house network is), Uverse can be spotty. I'd check in with the neighborhood your getting the service set up at. Chances are your neighbors are going to have the most accurate opinion. On a side note, Thanks for all the great how to videos! I picked up the 3 brody's ghost books the other day and Love them!

  • Sorry ATAT is what I recommend my family and really think it works (my other comment was me hitting the send button on accident)

  • AT&T uverse is whs

  • cash for gold. LOL

  • U-verse is the way to go. I got my setup with my PC hooked into my cable box and my TV beside it(although, I don't watch TV). They got a good 6 month plan I believe, after awhile, I think the prices go up just a bit. Recommended to have if you have the phone service, free texting, internet and phone service, and cable. It's a good package I think to have. And probably worth it.

Never heard of bright house, so I don't know what to say about that one.

  • I personally have U-verse right now and I absolutely love it. The wireless network is strong and fast and I have not had near as much problems staying connected as with other networks. The set up was one day and the company even paid to fix the wall that they had to punch a small hole in for the cable set-up. But yes, I definitely enjoy and recommend U-verse.

  • I've used AT&T's dsl service back from when the service was owned by SBC, and then Yahoo, and it seems to have gotten steadily worse with each new owner. I get disconnected several times a week (almost every night infact). The initial setup of my internet here took 2 weeks. The AT&T guy had to come in twice. Not to mention when I transferred my service from another address to where I'm living now, I was on the phone with customer service for over an hour.

  • Mark, I want to thank you for sharing your talent with all of us out here in the world and personally for helping to wake up my own gift which has sat dormant for almost 20 yrs, and Okamii1113, don't sweat the lost sketchbook, I've had 2 portfolios with accumulated work of 20 yrs ripped off in my travels and realized, the works not gone, since its still in my head ya know, start a new book, there's a better piece inside you just waiting to be released...the choice is YOURS!!

  • Forget both get comcast Xfinity I had AT&T it sucked like heck and always went out the other one not sure but if you want the best go with Xfinity

  • AT & T U-verse

  • Lol...I don't like either of them. That's why I have Verizon Fios and it was the best choice ever! I get around 2 Mb/s which is really so much better than Brighthouse. Well I'm assuming the reason you said either Brighthouse or At&t is because those are probably the only ones you can afford or ones that are available in your area.

  • I don't know why everyone is saying AT&T is bad, I've had it for five-and-a-half years and it has only crashed ONCE for FIVE minutes (It's really easy to fix)

  • I'm a kangaroo... I can say that coz i'm from Australia!

  • @WilliamSpokesSlurpie or can you?

  • @WilliamSpokesSlurpie Yes I can, now why am i talking to my self talk to me?

  • @WilliamSpokesSlurpie Dude you have gone CRAZY!!! Your talking to yourself on youtube and the comversation has nothing to do with the video...

  • @WilliamSpokesSlurpie Its conversation not comversation, GET IT RIGHT!!!

  • @WilliamSpokesSlurpie You know what, i have no idea if our conversation makes any sence well its not our conversation its mine, since i'm talking to myself... i'm gonna go watch a diffrent video and hope when I write a comment you don't say anything!!!

  • I've used both. Bright went up on their prices, so I now use AT&T. They've gone down on the price. I get phone and internet service for $68 a month. I haven't had any problems with AT&T, so I'd say they're the way to go.

  • I've seen all your videos and I recon you could probably make a feature length cartoon film just from the drawings I've seen from you :)

  • DEFIDENTLY bright house

  • get at and t is okay never heard of the other one

  • Only get at&t if ur willing to spend excessive amounts of money for better packages. They have a habit of duplicitously wording the package names, btw.

  • Hi Mark. About your question, I've been a customer of AT&T's for some years now and have always been a satisfied with their internet services, although your satisfaction will depend much on the connection package of which you choose. Obviously, the higher the connection strength you choose to purchase, the better. Sorry, I've never heard of the other company, but I hope my opinion is of great use to you.

    - JP

  • Bright house

  • @leehocking514 me too.

  • Bright House.

  • I have AT&T it works good. But i would think you should get bright house.

  • im nuetral on this one

  • Ahhh!! I thought this was a patriotic video turns out... he needs cable.

  • I've never heard of Bright House, though I've has AT&T before and it kept crashing and we wouldn't have tv, internet, or phone service for varied amounts of time. I'd go with Bright House.

  • bright house

  • i use Bright House and i like bright house a bit better than AT&T. Bright House is what i suggest.

  • AT&T usually works well! I've only have one problem when the entire internet went down... but other than that it's recommended.

  • I'm so mad he's talking about Internet service with that amazing scenery he's just casually tweeking. Mark, I haven't drawn seriously in a couple of years since I lost a brand-new sketchbook with the best crafted manga I ever drew. I was so proud of it until something happened to it. I guess I just quit. But you encouraged me to make something even better!

  • @TheOkami1113 Don't give up! You may have lost some work, but you still have your hability to make more - and better!

  • @TheOkami1113 you losing your sketchbook is bad, i lost my psp, i have no clue how

  • @MrOvaltineMan psp can be replaced.. his/her sketch pad was already drawn in :\

  • Comment removed

  • @562SammyJames $400 can't be replaced!! and i am poor!! i had to save up for that! and the game data can never be retrieved, i beat THE FIRST PURSUIT FORCE FOR GOD SAKES *burst into tears*

  • @MrOvaltineMan my goodness man.. 400 dollars for a psp?!! well losing either is very bad i guess but i would rather loose my psp than my manga^-^

  • @TheOkami1113 wow, you guys are helpful...

  • Well i use at&t u-verse is good i never switch internet its good but then breakdown of the materials like the modem box they sometimes charge you but its a really good internet service

  • xfinity works better than both.

at&t charged me for using my internet too much -.-

    or going over GB.

  • Bright house

  • AT&T FTW

  • I have bright house, its really well! Fast internet...bright house :D

  • PLEEEEAAASE send me this picture i LOVE IT

  • this is why i am british.

  • @UNIQUERAGE1 im british and i get pissed of with alot of the providers especially BT they try to con you every way

  • Hah, said Americans. I still watched cause I'm an Aussie and all o our inputs count.

  • At and t is the worst they charge you extra for crazy things

  • If u haven't made ur decision yet I would choose AT&T bright Internet sucks they have issues with connection and their customer service sucks AT&T on the other hand doesn't have that many issues and docent lag and lose connection at least for me

  • Not AT&T Uverse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • AT&T

  • Sorry but I can't help you seeing that I'm Aussie.... mate.

  • I always had trouble with att at my old house....but I decided to stick with them anyway. For some reason or another it's better here then it ever was in my old neighborhood....I don't know why that is. Maybe location is also a factor. Just saying.

  • AT&T... It was fast for a while. Until they changed something so that they're internet service no longer reached where I lived :/

  • Xfinity if you can. My mom is a web designer and needs a extremely fast server as well as one that is very secure. She has bought the fastest package and its crazy fast! If you can't I would go with AT&T.

  • AT@T its been great no slow connection

  • AT&T!! THE BEST!! (:

  • not relevant to the topic of the vid as i'm not american but i love you're outro :p

  • Frontier is good too

  • AT&T has a fast internet service, the problem is that if the power goes out and when it comes back on, you have to set it all up again. Not that you have to have a repair guy come over, but you have to put the wifi password in and then it has to load...so that'smy expirence! But AT&T has the bundle package, and if you were to just get internet, I can garentee it's cheep!

  • Xfinity is the best

  • I <3 U Verse, never had problems, and always fast

  • My family has COX.

    It works better then dish...

    thats all I know... -_-...

  • You will be reading 1,235 comments, come on!

  • @eligirl100 Make that 1,244... :)

  • verizon fiOs

  • I don't know why I clicked this since I am English...

  • @leehocking514 I'm puertorican but I'm just bored and i want to see

  • @leehocking514 do you live in England?

  • @ilendboi97 yup, sure do!

  • @leehocking514 cool so how is it there?

  • AT&T.

  • Brighthouse it better

  • Yea yea yea!!!!...... America....

  • Whatcha drawing?

  • i had booth but at&t is the best

  • U verse sucks

  • we had AT&T, but because it would cut out on us, decided to switch to charter bundle thing.

So, i do NOT suggest AT&T

  • that background is amazing

  • It depends on what you're doing. AT&T is fast, and that's about it. It's unreliable, it has lousy customer support, and they tend to make "mistakes" on the bills. If you need speed, that's what you should pick. If you're looking for something average, get Brighthouse. They have decent speed, good support, and it's reliable. If you're just surfing the internet, get Brighthouse. If you're playing Call of Duty or Battlefield (Which I doubt for some reason) get AT&T. Good luck to ya.

  • seriously do a tutorial on this background

  • AT&T is more unreliable than Brighthouse. AT&T tends to have a faster internet, but they lack in customer service. Brighthouse is slower than AT&T, but not a bad speed, there is not a contract, and their customer service is much better than AT&T's. So if you can live with the slower internet, definitely go with Brighthouse.

  • I think it depends on where you live to get a good. Connection, I used to live in Chicago and had neighbors all around, it would only be laggy on once in a great while on weekends, I just restart the comp, other wise it was fast and I could watch you tube all day.

  • i have brighthouse internet it is terrible y internet just cut off for no reas a couple of days ago idk why but dont get it

at&t u verse is probally better

  • Go with brighthouse we have a couple of diffculties but not a lot for me and my family

  • seriously choose at&t the speed is awesome and you won't get disconnected as often as comcast, also cheaper

  • Definitely not AT&T they are horrible with customer service and tend to jack up the price for no reason

  • I have at&t and we lose the internet connection every once and a while. We had called them to come over and fix the connection once, and in about 2-3 weeks they finally show up.. The internet speed is fast but you have to put up with losing the connection. Overall, I would say at&t is okay but definitely not the best

  • Tell you what ATT is good; their speed is good first seen the price is good, but needless to say their connection is almost an off and on thing especially when you get the one on the phones every incoming call connection gets cut off and has to reload"every modem lights has to do the process" Unless you do the extendable wires to the phone ports you'll keep losing connection. Plus you have to pay for the modem"weird". So an overall rate for ATT would be a 2 over 5. i haven't tried the other one

  • I had att and I had no issues with it was fast and reliable and the wifi was a plus it but I had to move and had to cancel since where I moved they provide me with internet not sure which one it is I think it's netgear I noticed the difference right away art would be the best choice

  • at&t sucks , i had brighthouse it costs less i moved and hda to get at&t and it was awful, losing service, bad prices i moved back Just so i wouldnt have to deal with it

  • AT&T has a 250gb bandwidth cap and that is certainly not a good thing. I don't think brighthouse has a bandwidth cap.

  • i had U-Verse, it was awesome!!! but i think u have to pay more.. my grandparents have Brighthouse and idk if its that good or not.. U-Verse has more channels anyways

  • U have to get at&t it rocks, I had another service once, and it didn't have wifi, then I got AT&T uverse and I got wifi, I loved it!

  • Casa de Empeño :D

  • youshould try out at&t

  • AT&T

  • AT&T

  • AT&T exceeds on the map of USA to coverage, Brighthouse coverage is not close on coverage, AT&T is clear and rarely drops, although rates are a bit high, but if you are able to afford it, which I assume you can, go for it. You just have to understand where the hot spots for drops on your phone are at, and your good to go anywhere outside of the USA as well.

  • Well honestly I would say I've heard of Bright house.. But Currently I have AT&T it's reasonably priced but however if I had a problem or an issue and I would have to Call their help line it would keep me waiting as and just hang up on me than after an hour of dialing back I get a response they like to test my patience.

  • AT&T because when some one call its gon be on da tv and the internet can pertect u from viruses

  • There is also Verizon Mi-fi boxes that you could get. You pay for it just like a cell-phone. And it's mobile.

  • hi mark i have bright house, it is okay but they cover your standard commercials with their commercials.

  • how on the entire earth can someone dislike a mark crilley video?!?!?!

  • AT&T was horible and not very afordable for my family.

  • I've had no problems with AT&T in my house. Never heard of Brighthouse, although we used to have Comcast it, if you have comcast in your area its a pretty good choice. Just had someone come to our door yesterday from comcast with a special going on right now.

  • at&t

  • AT&T! INTERNET IS SOO CHEAP!!!

  • I just switched to Uverse and it's really fast, I don't think you can go wrong with ATT. I've used ATT for about 8 years with no problems.

  • AT&T works just fine at my house! Have it for our cable, Internet, and phone service and we are just fine. So I would pick AT&T.

  • Never heard of Brighthouse. Didn't like AT&T phone service, why would I want internet?! I'd look for a "just for internet" company or switch to Verizon. lol.

  • AT&T does not help!!!!!!!! X

  • AT&T

  • I'd say brighthouse because I've had experience with AT&T and I HATED it

  • Im never heard of Brighthouse, So I assume its not that great. At&T is expensive, But reliable.

  • Im brazilian, do I count too? As someone says below my comment.

  • Hey, Im English! Do I count?

  • at&t but even with those two options those arent the best XD

  • I go for AT&T it doesnt lose connection as much as bright house

  • AT&T works fine 4 me hope u get the right one

  • Goodluck. Hope you get some constructive suggestions :)

  • bright house i had at&t was horrible go with bright house

  • My dad works at AT&T :)

  • AT&T

  • bright house

  • Brighthouse

  • AT&T for internet is very reliable.

  • @KingdomHearts1207

I think he means internet provider, like comcast or verizon, what you are talking about is a internet browser, like google chrome or internet explorer 8.... BTW, I would go for AT&T Because it has reliablr internet service, for reasonable prices...

  • @MizuHaganei Oh...but he was talking about AT&T in this video.

  • at&t is pretty reliable
