you don't have to do it in photoshop if you don't want to i found it easier to do that in vages with cookie cutter on a solid back but if going for detailed and distorted borders use photoshop :D

okay i would suggest looking around youtube for videos on how to get it free. just try typing in donwload photoshop for free and when you find a video check that the comments are mostly positives to show that the video tutorial helps and then just follow the video guidelines.
