@wilmahomemademusic Thank you Wilma. I use all of my musical talents in my teaching Kindergarten to eighth graders music for over thirty years in the Philadelphia City Schools. It is so much fun to share, and watch many of my students improve and make music their careers as a performer when they grow up. God Bless....
A full-bodied woodwind section in addition to vocalizations...talk about multi-tasking....did anyone inform Ripley's Believe it or Not? As one instructor to another, you get an A+ for not only your delivery of sterling sonics, but also for the diversity of sounds involved, for they perfectly compliment one another...all sharing the common denominator of your impeccable diaphragmatic control.
@stewballmax3 Max- You are wonderful with your comments! I think for Ripley's I would need to be using at least one or two more instruments! This was incredibly exhausting, but fun once I saw the finished product turning out so well. Have a wonderful evening. I will not be putting up La Donna e mobile for a few days!
WOAH! Now that is some big talent...Very very cool indeed, that took some work! Gee, could u still breath after that?! U play alot of different instruments I see in the comments! woahhhh, very good! -S
@3greatgreyhounds3 Shannon- I earned a Masters of Performance Degree on the Bassoon, have been playing the clarinet since age 8, the piano since five, singing since 5. Yes, I am an all around musician. My son used his camcorder and this is the seventh take of the song. it is amazing that no reeds were broken! I took a nap after doing this. It was very difficult!!
@SUNNYD3322 Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting. I am glad that you liked seeing juggling all the instruments. This was very difficult to do. It took close ten takes before I got it this good and put it up. I still would liked to have done it better, like your guitar playing.
Suzy- This was the hardest video for me to do, and I did not break either reed! This took ten times over the course of an hour before I put the video up. I hold a Masters Degree in Bassoon performance, and have been playing the clarinet since fourth grade. I was so out of breath!!!
Johnny- I have done everything from sing second tenor in a barbershop quartet and playing the jug and washboard back in the 1960's , to starting piano at 4, clarinet at 8, and bassoon at 12, where I earned a Masters in performance degree. I also play the Tenor Sax, oboe, and recorder!
I hold a Masters in Performance Degree on Bassoon and have been playing the clarinet even longer. This was very difficult to make as a video with many takes until I was satisfied..... Glad that you enjoyed it....and I did not break either reed!
I admire that degree! LOL, I can see how hard you were working to pull it off. I guess since we guitarist say "break a string" for good luck, I should say "break a reed" haha!! Your dedication is impressive.
Sharkie- My piano playing, which I started at the age of 4 and played at gigs along with my singing is the only type of video Not up here! I consider myself very fortunate to have been able to accomplish such high levels with so many instruments. I earned a Masters Degree in Bassoon performance.....
Roeleke- I did this as a funny video but also, showing off several of my musical abilities and expert musical training. Everything has to do with professional breathing techniques practiced over forty years. I wish that more would see the high standards that I use with all of my videos!
I have the seat strap, neck strap and stands. It was the timing of switching the instruments that forced me to hold the bassoon against my body and hold it with my hands. This was very difficult to do, trying not to break the reeds on the bassoon or clarinet. I have been a bassoonist for over forty years, and although greatly out of shape, I hold a Masters in Performance Degree. The clarinet, I have played even longer. My Professional diaphragmatic wind control is the key!
absolutly brilliant mate... well done lol, a natural talent... sory it took me so long to get back to u.. ive been kinda busy.. i have a few new vids on here so check em out if u want, wen u get a chance
Well done Ben "Triple Threat" Brenner! THIS is a world's-only-performance, very safe to say and incredible considering there's billions of us! Good job!
This was such a difficult video for me to do. This was played straight through after rehearsing it three times before the recording! I wonder why it has not shown up with my other HandwhistlerBen videos?
