I used to love playing this on our Commodore way back in the day. I think I was only 3 or 4 years old, but my dad taught me how to type in "Load (Game name)" for each game we had and I'd play and play. I didn't even know this was on the virtual console.
Hehe, I had a C-64 when I was 5 or 6 too. Also its my dad taught me how to use it.. I blame my dad for getting me into gaming at an impressionable age.
I still load up C-64 and Amiga games on the emulator from time to time as some of them are still better than the half the games made today. GFX are not everything :)
Many fond memories playing Winter Games.. could never do the Ski Jump :(
such memories - i had this on the C64 when it came out. I'm 33 now and when i saw this all the events came flooding back. great times playing this and summer games
Yes. I remember playing the game some 20 years ago. The graphics is crap compared todays standards, but the game is still as fun and hard as it was back in the 8-bit days.
OH man oh man oh man! I remember these games! They were hard as hell!
The fireworks show at the end was always the best part though :D

@alloriginal I think a lot of gamers have fond memories of their 8-bit gaming 20-years ago.

@alloriginal I could make the exact same comment! My dad taught me the "LOAD GAME, 8" command. Great moments! :)

Haha! What a flashback. I played this over and over at my friends house who had a C64.
The figure skating was the trickiest part and the biathlon the funniest.
Great "text-tv"-graphics...
Thanks technofranki for uploading
