Autorun.inf + Recycle Bin virus - removal and prevention

Hi Triplexity, I downloaded the Autorun Eater 2.5. So can the Autorun Eater prevents the virus in the External Hard Disk from trespassing my computer? I'm weary to plug in the Ext. Hard Disk to my computer. :(

If csrss.exe is located in system32 then it's a legit file. You have some other virus.

i have recycler and in folder is 894133bf this file and Desktop.ini with [.ShellClassInfo]

download unhackme i detect it by myself but i cant remove it so i searched on google and i found the program.

1. install unhackme

2. run a online multi scan

3. then reboot your pc (dont be scared as after starting windows your screen is black)

4. let the program scan your pc(may you will reboot your pc a serval times)

5.delete the virus folder

6. go to your real recycle bin and delete evertthing in it

7. its gone!!!!

before rebooting make the folder visable

I can't complete your 3rd step: I type "G:" then "attrib -h -r -s" and it says "access denied - AUTORUN.INF". Then, if I try to type "del autorun.inf", it says it can't find it. Can you help me?

Usually autorun.inf hide in the C:\ just for you to repeat the same mistake and double click it causing a more infection

6. step - when you choose taskmanager application new task browse, then do not click ''open''. When you know where the file is you can delete this virus file. ***

1. Download autorun eater

2. Clean your flashdrive

3. Use taskmanager & search to find the virus file location

4. Turn off explorer

5. File with virus start working, kill it (with taskmanagers end process)

6. Taskmanager - application - new task - browse - (the virus location & delete the file with virus)

7. now run the windows explorer with taskmanager new task or CMD

8. Clean / Delete the fake recycle bin.

Yes it shows the virus but everytime i delete this file (virus) named "svchost.exe","autorun.inf" shows up in seconds and vanishes fast and creates "svchost.exe", i tried using your method and svchost virus shows up but Autorun in the other hand cannot be found, even if i use my Antivirus, so i did is, i thought of something that would let this autorun react and show up, so i went to: cmd. type in the drive which is infected then, press enter

Then type: ren svchost.exe autorun.inf

It reacted, vast of errors came in then after i close those errors, it changes to autorun.inf

then "folder options" then "view" then show hidden...etc. thingy then press ok,

It showed up in my pen drive then i deleted it then finished!!! my virus is gone!! ^^

I cannot delete autorun.inf because after doing the process 1:28, its says "Could not find F:\autorun.inf"....what should I do then?

Thank you so much for this information which has been giving me a headache for well over a month after receiving documents from someone else's pen drive and storing their info in my external disc as a favour, I began to notice lots of trash icons in their documents, but didn't know what it was, until my laptop crashed and 2 other pc's with same problem. In the end I installed Linux but I still need windows on one pc for certain programs and now I have the solution on how to fix it. THANK YOUUUU
