the guy in the orange rx7 was andrew brown...used to help out at race weekends now and then for him. Only weighed around 900kg
with about 330hp ( i think ) and would spin to 9400rpm in 5th gear - around 154mph.
Had a hollinger g/box, fuel injection, lightweight rotors and flywheel, internally adjustable anti-roll bars.
The red/white datsun 1600 was phil morris - had a injected 2.4l - pretty sweet.
He and andrew used to swap wins alot in the state champs back in the early- mid 90's

What year was this race and was it a race before actual bathurst event?
Why do they call this improved production cars, as aren't racing cars improved production cars anyway?
Does the orange RX7 reach 154mph at bathurst and is 330hp developed at about 9000rpm?
Maximum speed in gears @ rpm?
Do you happen to know what the acceleration is for this race car, for example 0-100kph,0-200kph and standing 400m @ speed, standing km @ speed etc?
