  • sorry - but it didnt even taste like real vanilla icecream

i would call it - eateble but it will never subtitute a traditional icecream

  • gooood lord! Add some chocolate chips and sprinkles while youre at it! I have never seen so much stuff on gelato!

  • Does she have super vegan powers?

    YEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I gave this a try. It was okay. It tasted fine, you could taste the brown rice syrup, but it was more like a sorbet. Very icy, not creamy.

  • Organic bananas? LOL

  • Great video.

  • wow a chubby vegan

sorry but it's new to me

  • @10fluffbunny you should check out a book called "the vegan Scoop" it is full of vegan icecream recipes that dont contain nuts

  • Is it okay if I want the nut texture instead of pureeing it inside the blender? Thank you very much for this video, this recipe is the most simplest I've seen!

  • Everything looks great I cannot wait to try the recipe myself. Thank you for the vegan version I am excited about it and my mother is excited to try a gelato that does not contain raw eggs which just make her nervous.

  • Great video!

  • Italian gelato is another thing... this is something else.

  • thanks a bunch...looks great...will try this as soon as we get a good ice cream maker

  • thanks for the recipe.

The correct spelling is "gelato alla vaniglia", not vanilla :)

  • looks great I will be making pumkin gelato and apple pie for thnks giving of course VEGAN :)

  • that looks good! but do you need to have an ice cream maker for this? :\

can i just put it in the freezer after instead? :0

  • you can but you have to use whisk about every 15-20mins. and its not going to be as smooth as gelato but more like ice cream.

u can get a icecream/gelato machine for like $19 in target.

  • I love these alternative foods.

  • More easy:fresh soya yoghurt(1 day),vanilia,fruits.Blender, next in fridge.

  • maybe a food pro. would work also.

  • omgosh... so gooodddd

  • Omg. This looks so delicious. Is that a vitamix blender?

  • Mmm...very good!

is it also for me of it?

  • You're beautiful! Thank you!

  • where can you buy canned soy whip cream?

  • Some grocery or health food stores.

  • damn when i did that recipe i could feel the nuts...

  • It really depends on the strength of your blender. Some blenders do a better job than others making the nut milks.

  • @everydaydish I had heard someone else talk about making vegan ice cream with cashews and he said to soak them overnight in water. Think this could help people to get their ice cream to come out smoother?

  • Looks fairly easy to do and absolutely delicious. Could this be made as a chocolate or fruit flavoured gelato, I wonder? It does look very creamy when it's being served on the crepe. Yummy!!!!!!

  • How do I get the recipe for this? I would love to make it and have purchased most of the ingredients mentioned but am not sure about quantities.

  • The recipe can be found on our website everydaydish(dot)tv

  • You are so right! Bryanna is a very generous person, as well as being an extremely talented author. We love Bryanna!

  • She is one of the most helpful people ever! Not just in the vegan community! She doesn't know me, but I emailed her with some problems and she responded quickly, was caring, and very knowledgeable. :D I have never heard her voice, just through email (you can tell she is so passionate and caring),

    she has the sweetest voice!

I love her videos, I hope she continues them!

  • oh my god this looks delicious! I'm vegan and was just talking to my non-veg friend today about how much I missed gelato! Thank you, I will def try this!

  • can you buy soymilk :S Or do you have to make it?

  • You can buy soy milk or make it. You can also buy other milks too.
