wow 5 hours is a lot.. that's why you try to pick days when NO ONE would go. I went yesterday (and it was supposed to rain but it didn't) and the line was so short that I got on it 5 times in a row within 40 minutes

@tehfishdrowned it is a completely different experience at night. also, i may be dillusional, but i'm pretty sure there's more moisture in the air later in the day, and you can feel it stinging your eyes. (it's pretty fucking awesome) definitely something i would recommend asap

you did not wait 5 hours in line for this! First of all, it was at night, so Six Flags is way less crowded, there is a 5 minute wait at night on weekdays and 40 minutes on weekends. Secondly, the only time Kingda Ka had a 5 hour line was the first week it was open in 2005, and the longest line it had since then was about 3 hours long. Well... that's all

yeah, it breaks down at least 5 times a day. You do have to wait longer when it breaks down, but there is never a 6 hour line. And Maintenance is very good at Six Flags Great Adventure. When I went on last year, there was a T-shirt stuck under the back right wheel and they got the ride working in 30 minutes. It must have been a major break down.
