Late 80s early to mid 90s was this. The record companies did very little to guide the bigger bands. I agree candlebox was/is much more talented than pearljam but you have to give it to vedder when he was fresh and young he was the angst of grunge. Yet he is a cali boy.

@nashnwo1234 First of all this is not a live video. Its probably a live (maybe live in the studio considering the crowd is overdubbed) audio recording with footage from a whole show. The main similarities I'm seeing are that the Even Flow video was shot at the Moore Theater in Seattle and I this video looks like it was as well. The other thing that looks even flow-ish to be is the camera work and all the slow-mo shots and all that.

I caught them on a Friday night in Royal Oak at the Arts, Beats and Eats Festival: they were the highlight of the weekend and kicked out the jams. The singer has really short hair now but he worked the stage like a pro and the crowd ate it up!
Saw them at the Chameleon Club earlier this year.... and without a doubt they DO sound better than their recordings when they play live. Not to diss their recordings because they are great, but live is a totally different experience. Plus, it was sick that Kevin Martin came up and shook just about every persons' hand in the place, during a song!

@lornelthaltmer 70s hairband? They look like.. Pearljam, They didn't become famous in the late 2000s, They're an early 90's band, So about 20 years old or so, They just never made it to the status of like Nirvana because the lead singer wasn't a pansy and shoot himself
