The film intervews many religious group leaders for some reason as if they are now experts on demographics?

p.s. the World TFR is 2.56 children per women, the population will keep growing until 2050 probably much later according to the UN. We weren't in danger of extinction in the 1920's with 2 billion and we aren't in imminent danger now from lack of breeding, -overpopulation is more of a threat.
@phillips78 Europe isn't depopulating - Caucasians are depopulating in Europe. The population is rising due to the influx of Muslims and other third world immigration. That might not sound like a problem, but once ethnic Europeans die out, so will their culture - which was the reason people wanted to emigrate to Europe in the first place.

For example, if 10 couples each have a child, that means you have added 10 children to the original 10 couples for a total of 30 people. So the total population has gone up, from 20 people to 30 people. But the 20 parents will die, with only half of them, 10, having been replaced. From 20, to 30, to 10. Get it?
Population goes up because old people aren't dying, it will eventually drop by as much as a 100 million or more, every decade when the old people do start dying, and continue to die generation after generation(as they are not replaced in the slightest by the kids being born).

Even if you look at Google earth you can see that the vast majority of the earths surface is not populated and only cities where people conglomerate are overpopulated, and that is because we are social beings and we like to be together.
@fortiternontrepide It's not because people like to be together, it's because open land is more valuable than you could possibly imagine and has been bought up by a minority of people who don't want plebs living there spoiling their earnings.

We used to live in thatch buildings a few hundred years ago, under kings and queens, where you could live out your entire life in one little village with only scant exposure to the outside world. I think the problem today is that we are exposed to everything and it's too much to handle. Maybe you've made the right choice though.
