No it's an irish bouzouki, A-E-A-D (low to high), I know it's quite uncomon...

I play this instrument because I like the sound better then the greek one, soft and round sound. I use this tunning because I come from guitar and the 3 last strings are the same as guitar. This video is old, I should update it

Hey Olivier! Great performance! I`m Bulgarian and I realy liked it! I`m trying to play it on my guitar but I think I`m going to buy a bouzouki. Epa !!! Impresionante ! Tu étais déjà naturellement doué quand je t'avais rencontré au lycée Voltaire (tu devais être en première)et tu as fait beaucoup de chemin depuis... Je repense souvent à cette rencontre quand je passe rue des Couronnes. Tu m'avais prêté quelques disques, et j'avais découvert "Rio abierto", "Urubamba" ... début d'une vocation !

No, it's a bulgarian music that I learned from a cd, it was played very much faster...

"Rachenitsa" is a generic name, for the dance.
