  • im thinking about mounting the foot shifter off my ttr 590 2 stoke on the go cart on my right hand side like a car and putting a ball on the top and a foot clutch so its basically driving a manual car.

  • looks like you might wanna re inforce the frame a bit...a little bouncy

  • This kids obviously a bitch, hes so proud of his 175 two stroke, dont get me wrong its a bad ass kart but come on now! Gun that shit and lets see what 175cc can do!

  • This kid is obviously retarded and doesnt know how to explain it, it has a centrifugal clutch for those who are down syndrome this means when you shift the clutch in-gauges automatically.

  • @George2011k Seriously no one gives a fuck. Stop trying to get people to go to your channel, it's annoying as hell!

  • mean rig dude

  • wow that is really neet, how is the shifting?? an also has the power band made you crap your pants yet? ;)

  • the motor sound like its on life suport....r.i.p motor ill send u some oil up there

  • Your next project: A mini sand rail with a Banshee 350 engine.

  • 25 or more years ago I had a DT175E , That was a great little engine and bike , Had a dirty great steel plate under the rear gaurd for some reason , but it made wheelstanding a dream

  • Mine is way fucking faster

  • was this home mad cause on my go kart it was a gas a break pedal and where the factory puts the break pedal is all the way to the left. Im trying to put a kx250 in my go kart but i need ideas how to run the clutch and the shifter at the same time and keep atleast one hand on the steering wheel.

  • @thebrian253 yes the clutch is on the left and the brake and gas on the right like a normal car. they are all cable operated. I ran garage door cables through automotive brake line. the shifter is a mechanical lincage no cables

  • @thebrian253

You might have done it by now but the easiest way is to just use a rod with a linkage with a pivot on the frame of the cart then an adapted rod onto the engine shifter, the bike clutch goes onto the rod/hand leaver and you use the rod like a quick shifter back for 1st then just keep punching it forward using the hand clutch for 2nd/3rd/4th etc.

  • @thebrian253 or u can put it on a pole shift next to the seat with a lever break on the shift pole......

  • @thebrian253 put the clutch on the shifter handle sorta like bike brake lever with a cable running to the clutch

  • jealous i want one

  • i think mines faster, cool cart though

  • Pretty cool, I would just make it a lil wider. Very nice project though (:

  • i did same thing, i used a suzuki perm) motor out of a 79 dirtbike, i just made a shift lever with the clutc handle rite on it, and had brake a gas pedel wer they would regualre be. I just took and oll mini sprint cart, welded andd attahce a mojave rear swingarm to the back, and welder motor mounts rite ontothe swingarm. I gotta change the sprocket ratio cuz it just tops out and bogs in 5th gear @76, so if i can make some adjustment so it will open up the top end i can getit into 6th then hit 85

  • dude thats cool

  • a cool SUSPENDED homebuilt cart!

  • Nice frame

  • PLZ HELP ME

i made a go kart with full suspention and am throwing a 200cc 4 stroke motor off a dirt bike on it but cant find a way to get the shifter to go through a flexible wire (so it can move with the suspention) plzzzz reply if u have any ideas or vidoes of a solution

  • cool ! home made ?

  • I have a dt175 in my garage.. hrmm.

  • nice

    :)

  • That motor looks like its just about fucking done, Look at the pipe at like 1:00 and whatch and looka t the dents in that mother fucker lol. I would say get a new pipe and i would love the shit outa this thing besides tires and a rollcage that would be nice lol

  • thats cool how you made like spring hinges

  • bad ass bro i want one

  • aaaahhhh.... the sounds of jealousy and ignorance.

  • She looks a little rickety! You're parents must love how they don't have to cut the lawn anymore :P Love it!

  • let me guess a Yamaha rt 180 engine

  • Yall wach me tur up da grass.LOL:)

  • how many cc's

  • im putting a honda 250cc three wheeler motor on a go kart frame

  • def needs to be wider if its that long but nice build

  • so doing this with my good old 2004 cr 85 one day one day. lol

  • needs either a shorter body length or wider wheel base

  • i have that same engine but a 250 and its locked up but im putting another 250 on my dingo kart nice kart

  • grass most love to be airated by those tires! :) lol

  • u rip thats shit up man

  • really nice but id put a removable cage around the motor to keep it safe from a role over that and a role cage for you xD

  • hey, how did you set up the clutch?

  • will it do a 4 stroke engine any damage if i use this system on realy ruf ground?

  • omg ur lucky haha

  • And why is he so lucky?

  • now THAT is a go kart !!! not too overpowered, but sure as hell not underpowered either. if it had a cage it would be perfect. i like the soft tail design you did too...

  • are you kidding? a new 250 two stroke has roughly 50 hp. a 125 two stroke has about 33 hp. given the fact that this is an older motor plus the fact its not meant for racing, im figuring this 175 can pump out around 20 hp, give or take.

  • why did it end up so skinny?

  • Cool softtail job you got there. Have you bottomed it out yet?

  • Nice choice of engine. I'm pretty sure it will last a long time, just remember to change those fliuds.

  • that looks soooo much fun to do...!

  • hey make sure that thing is getting cooled, becasue it doesnt look like any wind is getting to the fins. nice go-kart though....

  • that engine is so reliable

  • use pedal bike parts much..? but nice build i like the 2 stroke dirt bike idea

  • plz respond on my account page or send me a message...

  • hey how fast does it go? and is it 175cc's?

  • my sproket is bigger than a 420 chain so do i have to use a dirt bike engine. where can i get on efrom how much will it cost and will it go faster thatn a 7hp side shaft engine

  • if its a two stoke and a yamaha engine how do you shift it you will blow the transmission

  • its got a clutch pedal

  • @GetTheFback u can shift without the clutch on a sequential gearbox very easily without damage if u do it right. u just have to make sure ur at the right rpm and let off and if it doesnt go dont force it. u can also do it in cars too by working the throttle right and not using the clutch but that takes practice.

  • dude you are a fucking woose hit the gas

  • that thing is SICK!!!!

  • lets see you drive that on the street!

  • needs a roll cage, stiffer frame, and bigger tires.

  • im going to put bigger tires on it this winter. the frame is very stiff it just looks flexy because the suspention pivots in the middle right behind the seat

  • Ahh cool.. Pretty nice ride but I'd feel pretty exposed with no cage.

  • @jeep2003 i wouldnt put bigger tires on it it would slow it down so much...but in the winter i would becuse those tires would sink right into the snow

  • put some knobbies on that bitch and it would be alot of fun

  • Right on, looks like fun. I'd probably have to widen the track a bunch if that was mine. Otherwise I'd roll it sliding into a turn/squareing off a turn, eventually.

  • how much would you sell it for?

  • not bad but what was it built for racing messing about or what big wheels suspension and dirt tyres that would me noice then yer noice say it and it will make sence

  • It's already stretched.. gear it up and make a dragster out of it . lol

  • how fun do u want to sell it ???

  • should of left it on the bike

  • put some mud diggers on that and it would tear shit up

  • yer lol i was thinkin that hasnt got much suspension but lots of chassis flex

  • dude guys comment on the go kart and video not where he lives retards

  • Tokyo drift

  • nice kart but are you new at welding or something jeez!!

  • that seems dangerous lol

  • another american DUMBASS! dt1 or awesome?? WOT EVER U NOB!

  • ur a ham burger u fat cunt.

  • where do you live? i bet you have no hambugers where you live in your shitty gay ass country you cock-scratch-n-sniff

  • hambugers ?? no we dont have those, what ever they are =/

  • he lives in the same country as you do ya dumb fuk

  • suck his dick eh?

  • \

    /

    /

  • lol looks whos talking

  • who u talking about? this fag "trevcannon" is talking shit about this guys go cart and he is probley a little faggie 8 yr old who doesnt know shit and sits and talks shit like a little bitch.

  • ahhh it looks like you called "jeep2003" a cock sucking faggot" which is why I replied to you. Man dont waste ur time with these idiots on youtube, theres better things in life.

  • hey my name is garrett and i want to build a go kart. like yours. how did you build it. can u email me and we can talk cause ur kart is sick.

  • yeeaah:D nice driftxxD

  • good stuff.. i like the cars in the background to

  • what a waste of a dirtbike engine

  • thats awesome i want my dirtbike to sound like that hopefully i gt a 4 stroke AND a 2 stroke.

  • Awesome!!

  • what tpye of bike that engine come out of

  • hey retard, the older 2 strokes off enduro's are fuckin' just fine. longer piston stroke = more of a rev. Think before you talk. n' i have a dt175 and its a helluva bike. And i bet this didn't cost the guy over 250 dollars to build..dip shit. awesome kart dude.

  • You're seriously contradicting yourself trevcannon, just stfu before you make yourself look worse

  • how about u shove a giant whopper in ur mouth & stfu urself u seriously fat am fuck

  • why do you have to come on this video and say his go kart engine sucks? the engine looks fine to me so stfu

  • hahaha there is nothing wrong with that engine xD Yeah and Michaelgy is right.

  • @michaelgy shorter stroke higher rev longer stroke lower rev more torque think before you talk

  • @michaelgy sorry to say this but a longer stroke means a lower rpm. for example i will use a marry go round, spin it fast and ride closer towards the center(shorter stroke) g forces pulling u off will be less = it can spin faster b 4 you fly off.

now ride it on the edge(longer stroke) = much more force pulling you at the same speed. each style of engine has its own advantages though, personally i like longer stroked engines, u have more power with less rpms = less engine wear. class dismissed

  • @michaelgy i got a dt 175 too... fucking animal :D how should i quiet it down, police always come round when i go on it... too loud :/?

  • @michaelgy Hey moron, a longer stroke=lower revving

  • thats so red kneck i love it!

  • REV IT!

  • try cutting the grass with that...

  • HAHA!....what a piece of trash!

  • yeah...no not really

    thats awesome man!

  • nice man

  • Sounds like do do compared to a honda 250r. Put a water pumper 250 on there!!!!

  • damn that think will probably hit at least 80 on asphalt in top gear

  • lol. if you heard it but didnt see it.....youd think it was a dirt bike. haha.

  • thats pretty sweet

  • LOL that makes me smile :) wish I had my old suzuki 250R Quadracer to do that to.

  • thts cool! ur lucky u have all tht space to drive it. I'm making a go kart rite now

  • dog how fast dat shit go
