Obviously it's not a true portrayal of the status or the residents of the town. The video clip is supposed to be a comic representation of Athlone, in adaptation to "Rockstar Games" 2002 game "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City". "Vice City" was a comic representation of Miami, Florida. As was "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas", which was based on sections of California and Nevada. (do you see the link here???). This has been used on many comedians' sketches, Pablo Francisco to name but one.
