A very worth while test,it goes to show the law of diminishing returns,when it comes to quality over price..once you hit the £1000:00 point you have to spend a Shed load more money to better it...10,20 even 50 thousand.then your in pro kit.

how would you use a rode ntg-2 on a canon hv30 without the juicedlink system? the hv30 doesn't have xlr input.

amazing that the sony ECM-908c (ECM-907C) is not that bad. Balanced i like it the most. The NT3 is not perfect for video. The NTG-2 is ok but dark (as most Rode mics are).

@MrAschorle the nt3 would be good for video if this was done inside otherwise I think it would work well on instruments.
