  • thanks for the noise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Flamorgan The first 6, the 1965 RC165 250cc had the redline set at17,000rpm. The later 6's may have spun to 18,000 but never more than that. The Honda 125-5's And the 50cc twins on the other hand, redlined at OVER 20,000rpm.

  • fuck..the old boy wasnt hanging about was he

  • and now they all sound like dyson vacuum cleaners :(

  • i was there in 1967 ,it was revving far higher than that ,but then it meant buisness at the time.

  • There is only one thing about this magnificent bike more impressive than the 13,000rpm sound and that is the supreme craftsmanship of that 6cylinder engine and this was in the early 1960s,

No wonder the Japanese cornered the World market when they were able to produce bikes as wonderous as these.

  • FUCK YES! A 72 year old man... plus that sound!!!!!!!

  • 2 words.

    Fucking mega.

  • that sound... that wonderful wonderful sound... I think I came !

  • Ee were there he stopped at Sulby bridge and got his monica an a photo with him

  • when approaching it sounds like a moped with the tailpipe removed.

  • I watched the Junior TT in 67 from this spot, Hailwood on the 297/6 was awesome, sight and sound I'll never froget.

  • @stuspot61 I watched the same race at Glen Helen. Golden days...

  • @oxnoprog i watched it from creg-ny-baa, remember the German sidecars ? went for 29 years great memories, the weather was better in those days too??.

  • @barneyboscoe Yes, 1967 was a cracking week

Schauzu and Enders were the top sidecar men at the time. Do you rmember Helmut Fath with his URS? I watched him race at Scarborough in either 1967 or 1968 and he was unbeatable. Creg ny Baa is a great place to watch from.

  • in his 70s and he can still get on it like that. Amazing.

  • Wow, love to see such a valuable piece of machinery ridden at speed, not like a museum artifact!

  • dammmmmmmmmm

  • that machine is a work of art, fantastic

  • The standing joke about the 250-6 was that it didnt have pistons, just thick con-rods, all i all an amazing piece of engineering and what a sound.

  • 6 cyl are the best!

  • yea, they never made a production 250 6cyl. but they took all that bitchin technology and built the CBX. I would like to have the 500cc version, personally.

  • There's no bike out there that can make the hairs on your neck stand up like like the sound of a honda 6 cylinder 250 can. This bike was never mass produced because it was too complicated and expensive to build. I bet each of the pistons in the thing are probably about the width of a syring.

  • Wonderful sound, the 25-6 sounded sooo great, the 500-4 sounded like it had come from hell and frightened you, such great bikes. like SMB Hailwood they belong to the ages now.

  • Sorry, it's a gnat woth a voiceover by a Vespa... LOL

  • I have cried listening to Vladimir Horowitz playing Rachmaninov`s nr. 3, and I have tears in my eyes now, listening to the most fantastic motorcycle ever made.

  • that bike sounds like satain

  • damn

  • A song beautiful enough to bring any true gear head to tears

  • What a marvellous sound. There will never be another GP bike like the Honda 6I just hope that people keep them running so we can continue to be thrilled.

  • Marvellous! Its about time we took the 'Pussy-Pipes' off and let the good times REALLY roll once more! Many thanks for posting. :-)

  • fantastic, pity it wasn't a flying lap but good enough all the same

  • lucky basts that live in them houses

  • saw Mike Hailwood and Ralph Bryans ride the honda 6s in the IoM in 1966! you never forget this wonderful music.

  • Wonderful memories of the Ulster Grand Prix in the middle 60's!!

  • This bike creates a fantastic sound!!

  • Awsome sound

  • Superb
