the last comment here was 6 months ago, so i doubt anyone will answer but...... what exactly are you suppose to do with a buck when you kill one??? or what are things you can do with it???
@Skankpronger Hey Skankpronger, he grossed 139 and change and netted 132 7/8 after the 60 day drying period. Not huge, but he has a very nice looking rack with great character, flat edges and nice colour. The taxidermist aged him at 5 ½ and said he had a ton of loose skin on his neck meaning he must have been a lot bigger at the start of the rut. I never got him on a scale but he was rutted out and may have weighed 160 lbs at dressed.
You should not judge someone you don't know. That animal was taken quickly, humanly and the meat was all consumed. There is an over population of deer in this area and I choose to take one a year to help feed my family. Next time you choose to eat some meat, fowl or fish, remember you are doing the same thing, only you are consuming animals that live their lives in enclosed areas and are pumped full of medication.
I don't hate the anti's if they express their views in a respectful way. My sons 12 year old friend told me yesterday that she feels sad when an animal dies. I told her I have been hunting for 30 years and I still feel a bit sad when an animal dies. But I only take 1 deer as quickly and humanly as possible each season and we eat the meat the same way she eats beef or chicken or pork.
That doesnt mean I dont get a rush out of taking a nice buck.
That would be illegal. Gun season was over and it was bow only season. Also, I dont know of any deer that have a gun permit or a hunting license. We have to keep this fair and legal Jimmy!
YEp we have a lot of deer here...most of them are pretty tame, they like to eat food from the bird feeder's..lol.. But we do have a lot of nice whitetail game down here! Hunting start's tomorrow:)
Great buck! And with a bow!! You deserve it after passing up the other buck in your last video... Good things come to those who wait!

Steaks, hamburger meat and roasts. It's like getting beef free of antibiotics and hormones. The rack and cape are mounted in my rec room.

I love how people say hunting's a sport. i believe if you wanted to make it fair, you'd give the deer a gun
