Sirkus Agora got bankrupt some time ago, but they've started again. Good think is they don't do animals anymore. I've been to many circuses(some of witch I am not very proud) and I definitely think "human" circuses is the only right thing, and the most interesting ones to watch. Animals don't belong in jail, and it's horrible how some people treat them.

We are in 2010...why do we still have circuses? These poor animals are treated so poorly and forced to perform night after night. They stick bull hooks into their skin and shock them. Animals do not belong in the circus for our entertainment...step right up to the cruelest show on earth!

anyone who goes to the circus perpetuates elephant abuse. the circus is about making $ so they skimp on veterinary care, in other words they don't give the elephant what it needs medically, nutritionally or in any other way. elephants need space to roam, exercise and socialize. elephants do not need these horrid trainers hitting them with metal hooks or screaming at them all day! the circus kills elephants. the circus has always been HELL for all elephants. it's a concentration camp

It wants to go home, to be free not locked up in some cage. We punish people by locking them away, what have these animals done to deserve this? Are we really so blind we cannot see how traumatic this would be for this creature? Elephants are highly social & intelligent, it has been isolated from it's entire family, mistreated and left to rot in a tiny cage, no wonder it's gone mad.

This animal yes is showing a steriopity. However there is no evidence here to prove the animal is acively brutalised. The animal is being subjected to cruelty though! Animals in circusses should not be allowed... A study in Denmark is studying the welfare of animals in circuses (to be published soon). Animals require stimuli! In order to prevent steriopities!!

The cruelty is that the elephant has been taken from the wild and put in a small cage where it can't do any of the stuff that makes elephants happy.

If by "around me" you mean a radius of 10-20 meters then Yes.. Anything outside a 50 meter radius, and I get pretty ambivalent

animals are beat and yelled at to do back flips and stand on their heads for you. your money fills the pockets of the abusers. when the animal is tired of being whipped they attack and kill people then get gunned down 67 times for fighting back. they dont deserve this they deserve to be respected just like you or me. animals in the circus should be illegal EVERYWHERE! dont give your money to these traveling side shows who dont give a shit about anything but their money!

My God. The poor thing, stuck in that crappy little tent of the crappy little circus. Yes, this is classic stereotypic behavior, prompted by stress, boredom, loneliness and lack of adequate habitat and stimulation. It's so common even the illustrators of "Dumbo" animated it in the film.

Is that as close as you could get? Or perhaps another angle? The more you document this kind of evidence, the more chance you have of shutting them down. Maybe you could video some other animals too. Good luck.
