What a stupid interview. Two dolls doing an interview?! They didn't let talk Nik, when Nik is talking they stop him halfway a sentence. Very annoying! This is, I think, the worst interview of Nik.
Nik was (and still is) a fantastic and very underated singer/wongwriter but I feel he has become very cynical. He has turned away from his early stuff which I find disturbing because most of it is genius pop/rock.
@AlienOscillator I guess you gotta be the artist to understand. But I agree, hi old stuff was very cool and most memorable. But I dont think he's cynical. I just think he's older and therefore more jaded. I actually think he's very down to earth, humble, modest and very chill.

Backwards? Backwards? Depressing? Where the fuck have you been? 15 minutes, to be Frank etc is some of the greatest songwriting this country has ever produced. Just because it's not blind brain out pop in the charts means it's not good??? Jesus get back to songwriting school people, Nik is a teacher not a sheep.
@Geeljasjes He makes still good music. The album To Be Frank is really an good album. But I agree a little with you, his music was very good in the 80's.

I can't believe that Kershaw turned on his own music.
He found a sound in the 80's that was unique.
Then in the 90's he turned to Brit pop, dull guitars and depressing melodies.
How can it happen that an artist goes backward?
