I hate circular needles :( sadly enough DPN's don't hold big slouchy hats well so what I meant to say was thank you 'cause this is just what I needed to know :3
@nekosar22 You may hate circular needles, but if you get used to using them, they save on movement in your shoulders. I have had surgery on both shoulders and I noticed that circular needles helped them not to hurt as much.
@Betilda60 :O! wow, good to know, and thanks for the advice, I did use the circular ones for the project I watched this video for and it was easier and less messy than I thougth :) hope your shoulders are healthy now :3
Thanks for posting this, it's just what I needed to get going. I'm a fairly new knitter and have used DPNs to decrease in hate a few times, but it always seems like there are so many extra points in the way. I've dreaded having to do a whole project on them. I hope this goes better!
This is wonderful! I am totally clumsy with double points! However, can you move stitches around to accommodate lace patterns where you need to knit two or more together once in a while? They never seem to end up on the same side of the needle. This is wonderful to have such videos on-line!
hi im beginner, i wanted to make a hat for my father. can you show me how to make a hat using 1 circular needles and can you slowly show how to connect the two half together
Is this the same as working in the round with one circular needle because it looks like it is, but it's just a tad bit confusing? I,f so what is the benefit of working in the round with two needles compared to working in the round with one needle?
@DarrylCUR It is exactly the same as working on one circ, or DPN's for that matter. The benefits could be if you're working a relatively small circular project, like a sock persay, but don't like the feel of DPN's, or don't have a circ that's small enough for your project. This is also super handy for decreasing hats, which usually call for DPN's as you get smaller on the crown.

This is just too complicated. Give me dpns or give me death! I could have knitted half the project by the time you got it joined.
