  • I hate circular needles :( sadly enough DPN's don't hold big slouchy hats well so what I meant to say was thank you 'cause this is just what I needed to know :3

  • @nekosar22 You may hate circular needles, but if you get used to using them, they save on movement in your shoulders. I have had surgery on both shoulders and I noticed that circular needles helped them not to hurt as much.

  • @Betilda60 :O! wow, good to know, and thanks for the advice, I did use the circular ones for the project I watched this video for and it was easier and less messy than I thougth :) hope your shoulders are healthy now :3

  • @nekosar22 they are allot better than they were, but I am 60 years old now and I have arthritis, but they don't bother me very often.

  • Jennifer, I love your Summer Scabbard/Silken Scabbard pattern. I purchased it and can't wait to create it. Just wanted to let you know.

  • Thanks for posting this, it's just what I needed to get going. I'm a fairly new knitter and have used DPNs to decrease in hate a few times, but it always seems like there are so many extra points in the way. I've dreaded having to do a whole project on them. I hope this goes better!

  • This is wonderful! I am totally clumsy with double points! However, can you move stitches around to accommodate lace patterns where you need to knit two or more together once in a while? They never seem to end up on the same side of the needle. This is wonderful to have such videos on-line!

  • This is just too complicated. Give me dpns or give me death! I could have knitted half the project by the time you got it joined.

  • Excellent! Thanks for using the larger needles, that makes it so much easier to see. Very clear instructions. :)

  • CONFUSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! esp if you don't knit continental

  • a bit confusing the method and way you start

  • Great but I'm making a caterpillar and I need to use 101/2' double pointed needles.Can you show me a K6,K2tog. ?

  • This is great if you don't have fixed 16' circular needles...

  • hi im beginner at knitting, can you show me how use 1 circular needles and also how to connect the rounds together slowely

  • @sevenirene Check out Knitpicks video on how to use 1 circular needle.

  • hi im beginner, i wanted to make a hat for my father. can you show me how to make a hat using 1 circular needles and can you slowly show how to connect the two half together

  • Excellent video on how to work in the round. Totally weird way of knitting though!

    But thanks.

  • Is this the same as working in the round with one circular needle because it looks like it is, but it's just a tad bit confusing? I,f so what is the benefit of working in the round with two needles compared to working in the round with one needle?

  • @DarrylCUR did you ever get an answer? I do too wonder what are the benefits... but I didn't see the response...

    thanks

  • @DarrylCUR It is exactly the same as working on one circ, or DPN's for that matter. The benefits could be if you're working a relatively small circular project, like a sock persay, but don't like the feel of DPN's, or don't have a circ that's small enough for your project. This is also super handy for decreasing hats, which usually call for DPN's as you get smaller on the crown.

  • Excellent video, very easy to follow. Thank you for posting!!

  • Great explanation, thank you! I'll be trying that out right away!

  • Thank you so much for this video. Its great.
