So, that is like a C chord with an added D in it? That would expalin the 3rd position sound of the 2nd position licks over the 1st position root!!

May I ask which chords are played?

It is in C9, and uses a walk-up from the F.
It also uses a turn-around figure as though the song were in G, (using D9 and C9) but instead of resolving on the G, it resolves on C9. What is really interesting to me is that I am playing 1st position Straight Harp, on a C harp. The method of playing 1st position, is basically to play 2nd position against the C9.
