The 'Titan' idea is rendered basically impossible by replacement of Cronos from the Desert of Lost Souls to Tartarus. Some feared (and joked) it might lead to a God of Modern Warfare. This idea (the soul) was never used, though it could be in the future.

I think this explains were ares soul go too. My guess is that ares built that magic vault himself to keep the souls of the gods inside but since he died before them and he built it his soul gets sent to it instead. Kratos being the new god of war is the only one that can see the vault because he bears that same title ares did. So what do you all think?

In the first game he looks more like a demon, but in gow2 and 3 they made him "human" but deformed and wearing a helmet. With Hades you can do whatever you want, because the greeks never dared to depict him in statues, paintings or what so ever. But the only crusial detail is the fact that he had a helmet, The Helmet of Shadows, just like Zeus had the lightning and Poseidon the trident

The soul of war is said to be trapped in that room. The reasons for it being there aren't covered and can be dismissed as non-canon until said to be otherwise.

All 'extras' content of GoW1 has been shown as non-canon thus far. The 'Zeus' storyline got retconned which is the closest any have gotten to being part of the actual story.

It didn't say he killed Ares with 'this'. Rather it implies Ares didn't entirely die.. rather his soul got trapped in the chamber verus 'oblivion'.

It's not official canon however, it's said (in the secret message), the soul of war returned to a secret room in the Throne of (the God of) War. Somehow unknown to other gods, accessible only to the God of War (Kratos) and implied to be a future weapon (power-up?) to Kratos against the one he intends to take vengeance upon (hinting at the 'father arc').

~One could dismiss practically any such video/message as non-canon really though they could retool it for usage

When he died, Ares' soul was trapped in a secret chamber in the Throne Room of the God of War. Kratos speaks of keeping this fact secret to harnass the extra power of his soul against "him" (revenge against Zeus).

~Technically isn't canon yet and if made so, it would HAVE to be altered as things changed slightly in GoWII's take on the altered 'Zeus/Father' story. (1 of 3 non-canon possibilities shown in GoW1) The others haven't been accepted. The 'brother arc' was refused by Barlog (GoWII)

Indeed. Over the course of 3 years, I've crushed God Mode over 100 times.

Easily over 20 NUR/NUR+ runs completed. Plenty of other specialty runs too.

Ex: Artemis+Zeus Fury focus (no RotG, Blades or OTHER Magics used where it can be avoided)

~So having one secret unlocked just by beating the 'Very Hard' setting was pleasantly straightfoward.

What do you mean? If you are asking about video coverage of what he refers to, it doesn't exist. If you are asking about just what he speaks of period..it is a hidden chamber in the God of War's Throne Room which contains Ares' soul (the soul of war). Kratos intending to use it on Zeus (apparently made non-canon like the 3 videos of GoW1)
