@Tabby266 That makes me remember a book where the author wrote that, in 1944, a young German had better chances of survival enlisting in the Waffen SS and fighting on the eastern front than he would in the Luftwaffe as a fighter pilot. And a young American would have better chances in the Marines fighting the Japanese in the Pacific than joining the USAF and flying bombing missions over Germany.
pretty good a little off on planes the p-51d was supposed to be a c and im pretty dure i see b-17g's in there not f's but hey your like the only one who's realy done this sooo. cant complain
Great work, just one thing. The Belles famouse last mission took place May 17 -43. The P-51D you got in the vid didnt see service until -44.Almost a year later.
Good movie! some really nice, cinematic shots in there. A few historic inaccuracies (like the -G model B-17s, and the P-51s, but overall very well done. Plus it showcases my skin, so of course I like it! ;)
one question when the B17s are lined up ready to take off why are there moutains in the back ground? Memphis Belle was based at Bassingbourne East anglia and there are no mountains there.
I live about 5 miles away from Bassingbourne and unless im blind ive seen nothing like that.
Excellent, has a unique feel to it. I'd call it "Comic Book"Style. The saturated colors, etc, remind me of Comic Books. I kept thinking this would even play well as a series of Stills, like Frames in a Comic Book. I could imagine the R/T comm dialogue in Comic book Text Balloons...
The jerky hand-held camera FX, while at first seeming overdone, actually worked for me; Liked the radio chatter a lot; Bombing sequence beginning at 4:50 is very well directed, with creative cinematography
perfict 5***** I'm writing a story about a B-17 story i dont think its real its called The Red Falcon

The Luftwaffe pilots had the 2nd most dangerous job in the world, the bomber pilots, the 1st, and the P-51 pilots, the 3rd.

@Tabby266 Hey bud I'd like to disagree :)
Japanese kamikaze pilots had the most dangerous job in the world ;)

There should be trees on the hills, but I don't have the best system in the world, they are small farms with no trees. It could be wrong.
