there is no 383 chevy block the chevy 383 is a 350 block with a 400 crankshaft,

@badazzone1 Well, it is a block for a 383 combination so that is why we called it a 383 block. Had it been a 305 block using the same crank, I'd have called it a 334 block. Are we right? I can't say there is a right or wrong on this one.
