I see the hull on the Madbull shells are all scratched. I suffered from the same issue with mine, the extractor didn't engage well with the hull since the latter is bigger than the one on the stock shell.
@Kilo646 I've tried them on a Mossberg 500 and they cycled with no problem at all. My best guess is that you need to get a real M870 extractor and the problem should be solved. Less time consuming than working on the shells themselves.
Does anyone know where I can get a Tanaka or Maruzen 870 in North America? It seems the only place where you can buy Japanese airsoft guns anymore is from Asian retailers, since all the ones in the US don't ever restock their Japanese guns. And does anyone know if I can put a real steel wood stock on one of these?
piece of trash this shotgun. i have the same and all alu parts are broken after 3 month. the hammer and sear can replaced by real steel parts, but at the bolt is empty :-( dont buy this piece of asian trash...parts dont exists no more
lol, its acually ture, this is not a good gun at all, but its a great collectors guns and here in Canada worth alot, But I've got alot of real steel parts in it that I have had left over from a few Real Steel builds.
i've paid 500 euros for that shotgun, 7 shells included. the gun is not bad, but this fucking aluminum parts sucks...they will breach sooner or later. i replaced the "sear" by a real steel. the realsteel is a little smaller in diameter, but you can balance that with little metal plates. the badest thing at my m870 is, the bolt esembley is over the Jordan^^ are parts of your m870 broken?
Acually the only damaged thing is the extractor rod it snapped, but was a easy fix, either than that its good, but I don't use it much. More of a gun I'll hang on the wall, its safer than putting a real steel one there.
@HerrKrimeMinister i bought my remington 870 express magnum for around 560 euros while in us you can get one 4 300 usd lol the real thing not this p o s plastic aluminum copy l :P ps i hate coming across bb guns while looking 4 the real thing :PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP scattergun tech ghost ring in the search and i come across this helll no :P
@Kilo646 sure i can respect that but ive never heard of a plastic aluminum copy having the same price with the real thing its a simple rip off deal :(((((((((((((((
Well I can afford them so thats why I buy them, its also A great training tool and a collector item, I used Real Snap Caps for training, it will also exept almost any Real Steel part. Being aluminum it still weighs the same as my real Tactical Express (2008 Model). The only plastic part is the Stock and Pump same as real steel, It also has a metal trigger guard unlike real steel lol.
@Kilo646 aluminum is way lighter than steel (as you know remington guns are made from a solid block of steel except the versa max ) in anyway believe me my mossberg has an aluminum receiver so they dont really weigh the same .. the express model has a plastic trigger guard the WINGMASTER has a metal one ; ) (

Ya the madbull shells could use some work, they do work great for SnapCaps in my real Shotguns though.

@thawhiteflip
You'll only find one from an Asian Retailer, and yes you can put a real steel wood stock on the Tanaka, not the Maruzen.
