  • Lirum looks like Sarah! :)

  • a game has never made me cry is so much ever ToT

  • What bugged me about this cutscene was that Kaim and Sarah are IMMORTAL. Why didn't they just jump off the ledge and catch her?

  • @JintarOem because that was before gongora freaking cast the spell on him!

  • @vinsonize no they were immortal before that, Sarah, Kaim, Seth, and Ming have all lived 1,000 years. (A thousand years of dreams). The spell casted was to forget the memories, though Ming casted the spell on herself due to a threat from Gongora: Your memories, or your people. (I don't know if Gongora took away Sarah's memories though.)

  • @JintarOem Because Lirum was not and they probably knew that wouldn't do any good.

  • I never cry but this made me sad and defined the game. Well done Sakaguchi:)

  • Funny, they remind me distinctly from two Final Fantasy twins...

  • just WOW

the voice acting is incredible, aswell as the lifelike characters, definitely the best game ever made IMO

  • Hell I'm a guy and I didn't cry but the kid inside me wanted to go hug my mom and ball my eyes out! I am playing this game now and super close to the end and people say u better get some tissue's just saying

  • T-the tears... they're coming... D': So s-s-saaaaadd.....

I missed this part cause my dad went on without me at like night, and-and I didn't watch th-thisss..... I LOVE YOU LIRUM DON'T GOOOOO!!!! WAAAAAHHH

  • i cant stand the kids cry im going to cry:(

  • waa man that is such a sad scene i had to cry myself too! its such awsome story!

  • Tremendous acting by Shelly Callahan as Lirum

  • I tried not to let this get to me, but when the kids started wailing, I burst into tears with them. What a heart-wrenching scene.

This was very good voice acting, I must say. The actors really brought this scene to life. They incorporated just enough emotion in their voices that the scene doesn't feel overdone or melodramatic, but genuinely heartbreaking.

  • This scene proves that voice acting (not to mention directing and the script) in games can be as good or better than movies.

  • what is that thing the camera zooms in on at the end?

  • tht was sad man poor guys

  • Cry On was canceled a long time ago, so "cry on"

  • i know.

  • omg when she whispers in his ear... tht gets to me

  • Saying you didn't cry doesnt make you matcho, ya know. I confess I cried. LO is my second favourite game of all time, second to only the almighty Shenmue. LO - bonafide masterpiece!

  • the first game that made me cry was FF7....and right now im playing LO ...hopefully im strong enough not to cry :P

  • i didn't cry, but i was close. This and other scenes are so sad...

  • I didnt cry. It was sad but yeah it was emotional but i didnt cry.

  • You think this is sad? The makers next game is called Cry On and is going to try and make you cry every 15 minutes... :(

  • cry on has been cancelled, what a waste!

  • One of the best scenes of any video game I've played. Definitely the most emotional and touching.

  • But why did Lirum jump? Was Gongora controlling her or what?

  • I think Gongora talked to her and convinced her to do it, probably saying that her parents would have to watch her die and if she took her own life it would be easier on them, or something.

  • I cried when I reached this scene in the game T_T it was so sad!! so unfair he got to see her at last but she just died! T_T

  • God this beats Aeriths death in ff7. This game was very well done and is very emotional in this scene. It made me feel like I was actually in Kaims shoes when this happened. Hell the whole game makes me feel like I'm in his shoes. This scene is such a tear jerker.

  • One of the best games I ever played, there´s no doubt. Sakaguchi, Uematsu and Takehiko Inoue... A perfect combination to me. Lirum´s dead is the MOST emotive and sad scene I´ve seen in a videogame ever.

    I love this game

  • Perhaps the single most emotional scene in any game, ever.

  • ......this scene is soo sad :'(... I am not embarrassed to say that i cry every time i see this scene... im crying right now actually. but this is a really really good game.

  • I cannot watch this scene, it WILL make me cry everytime

  • this whole damn game mde me cry =(

u think this is sad if u havnt beaten the game already wait till that scene(s) :(

  • This scene is BRILLIANT! It's the only scene in a video game EVER that has made me cry, and I've played Xenogears and Valkyrie Profile.

  • Gawd. Everything about this game

    brought tears to my eyes.

It was thee saddest game I've ever played in all my life

But also one of the best.

  • gets me every time :(:(:(:(:(:(

  • I think I've got to agree with this being the best scene in video game history. In terms of sad scenes it even beats any movie I've ever seen.

Off topic, Gongora's kind of a douchebag and I'm not sure about his character adding much to the game.

  • Some other games made me tear up or shed a couple of tears, but this really made me cry....

  • really, the best scene ever done in all video game history ... you really can feel characters emotions through this scene...wonderful work....and thanks for uploading

  • what a sad secen I WNAT THIS GAME!

  • One of the most gut-wrenching scenes in any media, ever.

This totally made the whole game for me. I would say thanks for uploading, but now I'm all sad...
