no seriously... ff7 is NOT the best story ever told. this's the reason why japanese keep reusing the same formula, scratching their heads as to why the hell we even like this game only. ever since this game sueenix's characters have been so wrapped up in loneliness, and magically being brave cuz they end up in another dimension by the end of the game and summoning some rapid-slashing crap. it's bullshit.

DOn't call cloud sephiroth or vincent emos ...the rest eh sure call those sephiroth clones emos I don't like them one bit But in any case all other characters of ff7 world are not emos exept those nut clones of sephiroth ...I hate to sound like a toatal ass I'm just a FF fan and love all final fantasy games no matter if they are kinda twisty and turny ...ultimacia battle wasn't so grand or that hard I kinda figured it was the circle of infinity... new game pluses should exist in all RPG games

Actually... Emo stands for "emotional" as in, very emotional/sensative... Sephiroth is VERY sensative, that's why he's tryin' to destroy the planet. Because "Humans aren't good enough to live on the earth boo-hoo-hoo"...

It isn't so much a mix of goth and punk... Punk is more so the opposite end of the spectrum... Life-loving, freedom loving people... Goths and Emos are on the negative side of the spectrum... while Goths hate all others (stereotypically), Emos hate themselves... It's a genre that got way too popular for little or no reason. And most emos rant about individuality, but don't TRULY believe in it. They love all the same things their friends do. It's the hypocracy of the genre that people hate.
