You have to be in SE (Serpent's Embrace where she has her sword on her shoulder like a snake). Press A and FAST 236A afterwards. So press A, do a quick quartercircle from down to forward and press A again. You should give it a try in Practice Mode. It's not that hard. Good luck. :)

Try this, when you are in serpent embrace, 236 A A. You do 236 before you hit A for the first time and then you just hit A twice really fast and it should work no problem, even online with the lag.

The "combo" is A 236A from Serpent's Embrace.

You press A and do a quartercircle from "down" to f"orward" afterwards.

But it's not a real combo. You are able to shake out of the stun, so the 2nd hit won't hit you - unfortunately.

But it can be, that some of those combos doesn't work anymore, but that's because of the patch that came out after this video was done.

For example: You can't launch somebody with your Back Turned A+B anymore, so those combos won't work, unfortunately.

Then, who do you play against? Does your opponent know what 'Air Control' is? Or do you even know what it is?

Press directions when you are hit in the air to "fly away" from your opponent.

Go to training mode, record your '35-hit-combo' on the opponent, get hit by the combo, and then try to get out of it. I promise you, you will be able to escape far before the 35th hit.

She has two moves- Know Thyself and Reveal Thyself that will change her weapon either forward a state (sword->coil->whip) or back a state (whip->coil->sword). Know Thyself moves it back a step each time you use it in the middle of an attack, and is preformed by pressing B+K. There will be a tiny little flash indicating you've switched forms in the middle of the move, as is true when you use Reveal Thyself to move it forward one step by pressing A+K.

Alright, there are different things you have to pay attention on. Firstly, you have to make sure it's fast enough, so you got approxametely half a second. Secondly, you really have to press the right directions. It simply takes time to find your own way to do that. Stick or pad or whatever. And last but not least, you really have to watch out for the right buffer windows. So after some moves (block or hit) you have more time to buffer than after others.

Ok, when you do the circular motions (so the easy way) it only works for SS. For CS it simply doesn't work in SC4 anymore.

Well, it's the word-by-word translation from German^^ It means the time in which you can do the inputs for a following move. And the length of this time differs from move to move.

it actually takes some time to renew the old fighting habits to arrange new combos, because old ones won't work and others will.

there is a new stance and some of her old techniques are now in that new stance

fortunately you can manually choos in which stance to switch after an attack!

using this way, you can even do SC3 combos^^

but you're right - ivy has gotten better!

some people hesitate playing ivy BECAUSE she changes that often, but to me it's a challenge! I love that in her!^^

You have to put the clothes on that give you enough skill points to equip your character with the skills you want.

It is really more difficult now. There are two important things.

1. The buffer window is shorter. So you really have to do 3214391 or 1236173 quite fast.

2. You must buffer the move very correctly. So you must hit the directions exactly.
