Since when did there become stack height police? Do you guys stop all the semi's on the highway with stacks above the sleepers? You know...there once was a functionality behind stacks. To keep the exhaust up high and away from the load being towed. The dumbest stacks available are those about 3" shorter than the tops of the trucks...such that there is soot all over the back glass. These look fine.

Man i love the truck. Not trying to be a jerk but I would have gone with the shorter ones if it were my truck but its not and it looks good still. I have a 96 cummins dually with 5" turnouts that stick about 4" above the cab. Sounds great to. Gotta love the old school ve pump 12 valvers. Clean truck man.

money or engine I don't know about money on the first gen but engine wise they run 4.9-5.4 LT diesel engines or a 5.9-6.8 LT V8 lotta power I got a V8 5.9 LT
