...whaddya mean middle aged? I'm only 23 I've just had an incredibly hard life. As for not being able to switch things on and off I must confess I do have trouble with the TV but, I do work with computers so have no trouble with them!

No an octave mandolin isn't the same as a bouzouki but their are certain similarities. They can be tuned the same, a bouzouki has a longer neck.

The song is Chief O'neills Favourite, i think it was writeen by the Dubliners, as theyre the only people ive heard perform it. Its a mandolin.

It's not a song, it's a tune. Did you hear any words? The Dubliners DID NOT compose this. You need to listen to more Irish music if The Dubliners are the only ones you've heard play this hornpipe. It's been around since the 1800's and Ronnie Drew ain't that old. The instrument is an "octave" mandolin. Please don't comment unless you know what you're talking about!
