bit chips are near useless.

the main reason for bit chips is to stop an ariel attack from the likes of jumping base.

if however you're willing to buy a box of bitbeast figures you can get the stands for them and stick them on upsidedown so that they stick into a normal beyblade spingear (not screw in, magnecore or engine gear). this is actualy a help to your beyblade, though possibly slightly dubious rules wise.
